Not a massive deal but the post you made came off abit offensive towards the staff, at least to me. While you are in skype chats I dont think you're in the admin one so.. I mean.. yea.

Also, to those who think that these decisions were rash or did not come with the feedback of the playerbase, that's simply not true. Rep was announced that it was going to be removed many months ago. While this may be a very delayed implementation, it was announced quite some time in the past.

 

Likewise, every month or so, a thread regarding the removal of status updates has popped up for probably a year or maybe even longer. They have typically received greater support than opposition, and while perhaps they did not have the responses that a "Your View" thread would have received, the staff decided that it was worth an experiment.

 

The most important thing to realize here is that these are both tests. To say that they are rash decisions without the consideration of community input is silly because we're going to assess these decisions after a month and determine whether or not we want them to remain. We're more than happy to hear any and all feedback regarding these decisions (preferably after some time of having them implemented, so feedback can actually be based on experience with the system, rather than conjecture), and will take it into account when we make our final decisions.

 

Please just give this a try, as we're not changing the majority of your experience on LotC, just a couple add-ons that our forums allow.

It wouldn't have mattered if an admin told me in Skype or not, I certainly wasn't informed publicly this was coming. Sudden changes are very displeasing to people, as we can see by their reactions.

My internet was having issues, this is my third try to respond. Regardless, carrying on.

 

So you're just a player whom is acting like an absolute boor to their fellow community members and should definitely not be an opinion considered to represent the staff. You only hurt your cause when you act like a brat, SpamShok.
