--------

After a long day on the town Jerry finally returned home, bag full of untold amounts of wonders from the previous day. A ring sparkled on his finger and he whistled a merry tune while heading back to his hovel, a smile on his face.

You see, Jerry was a Treasure Goblin. Exceedingly rare, these entities boasted an uncanny, almost magical, knack for finding rarities within the world and hoarding them to themselves, and Jerry had just finished a trip looking for his next prizes. Now with a bag bouncing back and forth full of promise he returned home to show his wife (who was getting a bit demanding recently) his riches.

He pushed aside the flap into his cave and strode in proud and mighty and his wife turned from the cooking fire expectantly. Giving a quick boast he upturned his bags and showed his wife his glorious treasures!

Books! All kinds of books! Mostly old, they were wonderous in Jerry's eyes. He loved books so much, he couldn't stand it! Other goblins wanted only shiny gold but not Jerry... Jerry thought knowledge was a treasure more valuable than gold!

His wife didn't.

Several lumps on his head and ringing ears later Jerry found himself going back through the strange floating city he found the night before, putting the books back where he found them. However, just before he left He snuck one into his secret pocket before heading back home - His wife would never know.

Once more the Streets of Rivel saw life in that night, and once more the shadows had a chance at peeling back.

What forgotten words has found it's way back to the city?

*The old man quietly grins to himself at the thought of the adventurers to travel there, surely to return empty handed.*
