The world shuddered and rolled. Stones tumbled from mountainsides and trees shook in sway with the World. From the far North the sky suddenly began to shift as a massive light burned through the sky - A pillar of flame the size of a small city.

It took a single moment after this burst of light for the thundering sound of an explosion rumbled through the world, shattering windows and tearing loose items from windows. However... this was not to be the last sound.

"Freedom..."

The voice echoing with thousands others rippled through the land. Bone-chilling, the voices in unison spoke with something of a sadistic Glee.

"Mark this day well Mortals - Today... Today marks the Beginning of the End. No more shall my Wrath be hindered... I will choke the life from each and every one of you pathetic creatures."

The sky began to darken as the voices spoke, blackening and blotting out the sun. A downpour began, an unstoppable torrent that brought ill tidings.

This was not a good day, today the darkest of deeds had been done.

Once again, the Betrayer walked amongst the Decendants

Ramza looks to the darken sky as the memories of the doors and seeing Ibless. "This..." he gulps "The stories of him..are true..." he looks down to his body as it seems to be shaking in fear.

Second
"So it's real." Arelin mutters to herself after hearing so many people talk of it. She shakes her head. Thinking what would ever come next.

Not at all first.

Isabella, having been talked out of suicide rather easily by an old friend, proceeded to drunkenly craft ridiculous potions and give them to whoever happened to walk by.

Everyone deals with stress a little differently.

And on this day, Iblees' first act was to safely transport those who had awoken him back to the Cloud Temple. Somehow found in a Dwarven ruin despite being sealed away within the nether originally from a portal in Malinor, among other things that raise many questions.

Evark Evocress slowly looking around him, hearing the ground shakes before he turns towards the northan mountains, seeing the gusted flames scorch above, with a small twitch of anger his eye brows lower before he mutters to himself dispite the shakes of the earth below.

"Another being breaking free yet with power unmatched, I wonder if I would enjoy thi-"

His mutter if splintered off hearing the cries of "freedom" over, a gargle over is own throat before he looks to the ground.

"This land is Aegian land... I should've known... It appears that no one will be safe... I wonder if Cataris will be following the rank of the dead now..."

Evark Evocress turning back towards the mountains with a deep sigh before his face slowly ripples with sweat.

"I am much to old, though as it seems... they might have the key to what I seek..."

Evark Evocress sighs and slowly moves off.

Memories from Aegis ran through his mind as he sat in his tower, contemplating the events he'd witnessed. Relgard sat with his left sleeve rolled up, inspecting an ancient and faded brand on his upper arm.

For centuries, he had held those memories with hatred. Blamed the cult for tearing his life to shreds. For some reason, it didn't seem to matter any more. The raw display of power, the familiarity of it all - something had clicked. It all made sense. The cult that he saw as his slavers were not to blame. His woes came from what he did trying to escape the grasp it's teachings held, even three centuries after.

Taking a sip of whiskey, he felt almost at peace with his decision. He would, after so long, finally have something to work towards again.

Aedan looks forward to infiltrating the new undead keep and standing before Iblees, face-to-face, without him realizing he's not an undead :P

Oh well. Not really thrilled nor upset. I just really don't feel it.

Raziel goes speechless as he looks into the further North. He's already deep in the wilderness as it is. The hair on his skin sticks up, and his eyes widen. Chills run up his spine as the pillar of flame comes into view. "Wh-what th..-" He swiftly gets cut off by the loud, echoing voice saying "Freedom". He listens intently to Iblees' speech, still looking at where the pillar of flame was... speechless and immobile. "Wh..- who is that? Are...- are the rumors true?-" Raziel again, goes quiet. Slowly, a sly smirk creeps up on his lips...

Zar'roc sits quietly in his blarg, slowly smoking his pipe full of cactus green. He then hears the loud, thunder-like noise of the pillar of flame. Zar'roc doesn't seem to react, he sits there calmly and appears almost immobile. After the short speech of Iblees, he mutters to himself... "Zkorthuz... mei blah owt tu lat szpirut. Blezz mei, agh ahll uf dah Krug-Hai, agh dah hunurabel Bruddahz agh ziztahz uf Zan'Vitah' dah' powah' tu kleanze diz... nub'hozh, puzhdug glob. Zar'roc takes another puff of his pipe, he stares up to the 'chimney' within his blarg, narrowing his eyes as he looks up at the vast sky... "Blezz uz..."

Elaine looks up from feeding the chickens as she hears word of what happened, having missed it all completely.

At first she thinks it's just rumors but then quickly remembers things she had heard back in Thales. Resuming her work with a shiver she mutters out

"Well if that's true I'm going to need more wine for sure. Might actually have more things to do soon than just farm tasks."
