Arveldir huffs softly, "Phaedrus is going to get quite a few visits, it seems.." Arveldir folds a copy of the note and tucks it away at his desk, leaning back in his chair and staring up at the ceiling in thought.

His usual visits to admire the architecture and walls of his old bigoted home nation usually go unhindered, but now... Now, he sees the notice of Phaedrus. The mali'aheral are to be purged, he mouths, and his eye closes shut. He will never be able to return to his home now. Although he is happy Phaedrus Lle'hileia seems to be in some sort of powerful position, his longing to return to his nation increases tenfold.

 

He walks down the road. Each step is slow and careless; no care is being put into the regal stance he usually holds.

 

One day, Heshakomeu vows, I will be able to return to my true home. Not as mali'aheral, not as a leader- as mali'thill.

Naeri Sneezes, and within the moments of that sneeze a swarm of letters pile up from her desk by bird about what happened. "I have been given the power to change the world with my sneezing." she declares to her partner on the isle. It doesn't take long for Naeri to realize that she just missed out on something big within her sneezing fit, and that she actually doesn't have that sort of ability. She goes back to making small stone statues to place on a nearby island to confuse people.

A dwarf who picks up the address to the world, and chuckles deeply. He recites the names, and cross-references them to the collection of gate duty list collected in Kal'Arkon.

After a small reference to said list, a conclusion is drawn, and a letter penned and posted privately to Phaedrus himself.

" Dear Phaedrus,

 

                           My humble chess opponent, I see you are playing your pieces rather well and I do congratulate you on the establishment of a firm grip over those who once oppressed you. I am indeed grateful that your going to restore the balance Yemekar had intended for all his creations. While I may doubt you are a man of faith, I would bear to believe that you agree all racial powers being equal, internally and externally, is favorable to the progress of our purpose in the world we live in.

However, I must address those you wish to grant immunity to their crimes. Both Seth Calith, and the one named Ikur will have to be handed over for punishment when the trials of the High Elves who committed grievous crimes are established.

Both, according to resources sourced from the fringe war are guilty of dipping men and women into acid. The later has done so on his own initiative. As such, both deserve the punishment of a prompt death as to remove the taint their minds possess. The light which you see in them is a illusion, a trick provided as they felt your rise. 

I write as a observer of the war, and those which hide from the retribution they deserve must be punished, swiftly and without hesitation cast aside. Strength and Progress are indeed great things, I am sure, however these two will leave you hindered and resentful. 

These two, if they seek forgiveness, may find it in a life beyond this life.

Dear Prophet Militant Lori Ireheart,

 

You flatter me with your compliments and while I may not observe your faith, I do try to observe the Aspects, whatever little comfort that might bring to you if anything at all.

 

Onto the actual matter of interest, regarding the two you mentioned. While these two are guilty of certain actions, it has been through my observation that I would say these two are in the process of redemption. They have adopted new philosophies and mindsets that indicates to me that they are no longer the men they once were. Strokes of idiocy do occur between the pair, I will give you this, however I am no longer under the assumption that they are malicious men of murderous intent.

 

It is with that said that I request of you to allow them to continue living their apparently reformed lives. Perhaps I am being deceived or perhaps they are being genuine, in any regard, we attempt to handle issues within our city as quickly as possible. If they prove to become issues, we will deal with them accordingly.

 

If either of their crimes are more grave than the letter you sent me entails, and you are firm in your stance to see this pair punished, I will formally review them alongside you at your desired date. I intend to cooperate fully with those who have been wronged, but I do not intend to condemn those who stood by me before either. These men were foot soldiers when I knew them, and the ones who gave them their orders are subject to trial already.

 

Essentially, I would prefer to allow them to live their lives. But if their past actions prove to be truly irredeemable I will allow them to be brought to trial.

After Alakagh finished reading the notice about the state of martial law, he began reading this notice. As he read it, Alakagh seemed to be even more confused. Upon arrival in Haelunor, Adrek sees this "whitelist," the blanketing of all Mali'aheral as criminals against elvenkind whilst selecting an elite to survive. Abhorred that such an approach would even be considered he attempts to seek out Phaedrus. From what he has seen this elf seems to possess the honour Adrek no longer believes his own people have, and hopes that, should he be able to find Phaedrus, that he will listen to reason.

Orcs stand in guard of the elven roads killing all of those except children and this listed. Another name is added to the public execution list- Adrek, noted to others he can be noted for his stupidity. This is joke.

Although orcs seem to be true monsters the children are spared as hopefully after the genocide of all high elves above the age of 20 the high elves can gain their souls back from the arch daemon. If not purge will need to be extended but time will only tell of what is to come.
