Bolajay 4 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Nation Name: Third Mexican Empire Starting Military Strength: http://www.globalfirepower.com/country-military-strength-detail.asp?country_id=mexico Leader Name: Emperor Maximilian II History: With the recent surge in reactionary and traditionalist views brought on by the 2020 revolutions, Mexico has been hit with internal strife and turbulence. Don Maximilian von Gotzen-Iturbide, patrineally descended from Emperor Agustin and Emperor Maximilian I, thereby making him a pretender to the Mexican throne, puts his long-awaited plan into motion. With backing of a few Mexican generals and pro-monarchist citizens, Maximilian lands in Padilla with a host of 50'000, mostly composed of mercenaries (namely the Defion Internacional) and militiamen, all armed with equipment of varying quality. The army advanced towards Mexico City, joined by the royalist generals and warlords that further augmented Maximilian's army, that by the time they reached Mexico's City's outskirts, they had just over 100'000 men. Upon arriving, they were greeted by a hastily conscripted army, equipped with outdated rifles numbering roughly 3/10 of their forces. They were hideously disorganised and looked as if they would waver at the first sign of trouble. However, in the time it took Maximillian's host to arrive at Mexico City, they had begun entrenching themselves which gave them a tactical advantage. Maximilian split his army up into three segments of 25'000, 50'000 and 25'000 respectively. All were commanded by one of the seasoned generals that had joined him. The 50'000 division moved in to engage the encamped Mexican force of 30'000, who had apprehensively awaited their arrival. The left and right flank began to detach from the main congestion, moving to flank the numerically inferior fighting force. For days the battle waged on, proving to be indecisive until the leader of the 50'000 division concocted an ingenious idea to lure them out of their trenches, they would feign a retreat. When the opposing soldier's began to ostensibly retreat, the Republican Army began to celebrate as a multitude of them left the trenches to give chase. However, that would prove to be a dire mistake. The 50'000 segment stopped withdrawing and circled their pursuers, mercilessly cutting them down. This ruthless act had disheartened the remainder of the entrenched force, who now numbered only 6'000. They subsequently surrendered, leaving Mexico City devoid of opposition. The attacking armies occupied the city and deposed the President, restoring the archaic monarchy. Maximillian’s coronation was only a few days later where he was crowned Maximillian II. However, he still had much to do. He had violently taken the throne and undermined his citizens fervently loyal to republicanism, who have now set up underground resistances. The way he had taken power also destabilised the country further with some warlords declaring independence. Not to mention the increasingly violent cartels that had occurred with his ascension. His next moves had to be smart ones, his regime depended on it. Would you like to be considered to be a mod? Y/N: N

The Animal 1 Share Posted October 26, 2014 @Pok 1 troop for 100 of mine O.O Yes I know your french legionaries are disciples of awesomeness with the the best technology money can buy even though they pitched it as Europeans supposed to be weaker. I just am making a formal complaint that you act as if the French are the best, and they may well be, but wouldn't it be funner if you didn't just plow through like three countries while fighting 2 million+ troops, be able to hold all of that taken land just by killing extremist, and then have 15 drone things slaughter my men?
