Brief Biography: A dedicated revolutionary born into an economic depression within Africa as a whole, Jaha came to rally the Cameroon Socialist Front (CSF) into a credible political party and seized power in an election overseen by international observers; long an island of stability in the chaos of Africa, Cameroon has since been under Social Democratic transformation. Hostile to the prospect of a North African 'Empire', Jaha is dedicated to working against what he perceives as 'Imperialist Agendas' and seeks to reform the African Union in order to shelter the development and co-operation of powers on his continent from colonial ambitions.

Brief Biography: Rising from the downtrodden and angered classes of a depressed South Africa, the Libertarian Vryheid proved a dynamic orator and a forceful presence in debate. Offering populist solutions to a great many problems, he did much to rally the populations of the country - both his own whites and the native black populations - behind a singular will which eventually toppled the organized government in a forced election after his increasing powerful 'Johannesburg Commune' refused time and time again to form coalitions with rival parties. Quickly condemning dictatorial regimes as 'agents of slavery', the enclave of Lesotho was overwhelmed by re-invigorated militias, and since the newly-declared Commune has worked to consolidate its power base. Seeing the emergent African 'Empire' to the northwest, Vryheid warns of the 'inevitable clash of ideals' and that 'we shall fight by blood and iron to topple the Empire of the shackled'.

Leader Name: President Ibrahim Lawal
Brief Biography: Ibrahim graduated a Chinese academy, studying politics & law from a very young age. His father was the President of Ethiopia before him and suppose this promotes an Obligarchy, though it is quite the opposite in his hands. Considered bright and always acting, Ibrahim was able to lower unemployment rates and homeless rates in the country, improving life ratings considerably with huge steps in improving the local infrastructure and modernizing the military. While quiet, recent stirrings in the West has caused him to be more vocal, especially with the source being Nigeria. With fears constant with their warmongering, steps are being made to improve defenses and expand the borders, even sending an offer of friendship to South Africa. Ibrahim's views are of a Reactionary sense and he strives to blend modern aspects into the country without risking tradition.

Heck I mean another guy can take over if the existing DM feels cornered; there's no need for the project to die, nor to blame either side! I just left the other because I was a little overwhelmed at the changes in history (republic of paul ryan why) but I won't hold a grudge. They all seemed amicable and nice guys.

Also Gaius, similarly how we went the 'futuristic path', you all went the alternate history 'path'. While it's all good and fun, the FRP is too disorganized and made up for most of our liking.

If you guys had such a problem you should have just PM'd me instead of coming on my thread and telling me to **** off and stuff. In the end it just makes you look like you're defensive. A lot of you guys here are pretty cool, but I retain every right to start my own roleplay on the forums as long as it doesn't break server rules, such as flaming, trolling, pornography, etc.

 

I like sci-fi RP, but alternate history is my favorite and that's what I wanted, not a rehash of the same modern-future FRP for like the fourth time.

RP is RP. This thread aint dying and nobody is making a new 'modern nations' RP in the next couple of weeks. This one stays as is and even if it does die we do exactly what we did with the old one and pick right up where we left off a little bit later. period.
