Laureh'lin is the newly founded racial nation of the Elven people. It can be considered an egalitarian militarist state, due to the fact that while any Elf can step forward to lead the nation, they must first dedicate a minimum of five common years service to the official chapters of the state's military. The rest of the government is divided into three councils, each specializing respectfully in obligations of war and security, trade and supplies, as well as matters of estate and construction. Additionally, the government cycles on a two Elven month term. Generally speaking anyone can reside within the state, and the opportunities within it are plentiful and ripe to take, due to the fact that the nation was founded on the concepts of rewarding action and work, first and foremost.

A lone wood elf in loose, ripped clothing sits in Fiandria, watching the "wood elven" district with curiosity. Ryan Darkwood approaches someone near Laureh'lin with a few questions,

"Why do we still live behind stone walls if the Dark Elves have established a thriving district in the caves and the High Elves have been driven out? Why not return to the treetops of the perfect canopy and massive trees of Fiandria? Also, why does our kind put random apostrophes in our words? We aren't high elves, nobody spoke this silly language in Asulon except for a few scholars, what changed? Do we like acting like insecure High Elves thriving in their own 'knowledge' and behind their massive stone walls? Our kind would be perfectly safe in the trees with a single gate protecting a way into the canopy."

"We can't settle in Fiandria because the forest has a mind of its own- Druids can't speak with it- Spiders poured out of a cave along the cliffside by the forest itself." Dwyn smiles polietly to the elf, tilting his head "I lived in the fringes of it for quite some time, in Norithel's old location- The ruins there have some odd magic to it, and the creatures of the forest are in a state of fear from what I've heard from the druids- No animal nor tree with talk with them. So I don't think Fiandria is a safe place to settle as of yet."

"We should lead an excursion to try and settle the treetops, to discover what offsets the animals so"

Dak'ir nods to Ryan and Dwyn as he wanders in on the conversation.

"While the forest is the home of the wood elves, I recall taking several excursions into the forest with Kalenz in the past. Fiandria, at least in my opinion, should remain a haven for the animals. While it's beautiful it clearly wants the other races left out of it. Though you do bring up a valuable point. But I still believe the walls are needed to our safety. I keep my gates closed for a reason, it wasn't until recently that we started opening them as a trial test. Though I do believe the city is still very 'high elf' in it's appearance. Nobody looks at this city and thinks: "This city is ran by a wood elf". Perhaps all that may be needed is a change of scenery. The druids would be happy to assist I'm sure... As long as we don't end up looking like Malinor and attracting said crowd that is."

Dark Elves have established a thriving district in the caves

This made me smile.

"Our goal is deffiently to not attract that sort of crowd" Dwyn chuckles, and glances to the walls "They could use some sprucing up. Maybe even with Spruce. Add some color to this birch forest- But aye. Fiandria should remain to the creatures. I don't think making homes in the branches would bode well." Shifting his stance, he crosses his arms over his chest "It's ironic people are calling for the walls to be torn down, when back in Leanniel everyone was yelling for walls to be erected."
