Both of these sets a poor example, and being a smartass about it won't get you far. Can we add 'Goddamnit' or 'Jesus christ' or 'Jesus F' to the example list? I feel like this explanation only works if that's the case, right? I support religious freedom wholeheartedly, but didn't Charlie Hebedo happen like a quarter of a year ago? This seems like in direct contradiction with the lesson we learned during that event. Also, Banning people for private messages when no one involved has expressed discomfort with what's being said is VERY stupid. S'all I got. Agree whole heartedly with that.
