The Wolves of Sirame

 

 

 

 

    The government of Laureh’lin officially recognizes that the safety of Cerulin and its citizens is of the utmost importance to the prosperity of our Province. The Sons of Cernunnos, the previous military institution, has been blasted from existence for its lack of activity and pitiful militaristic prowess. To replace these ill-fated guardians a new protective force shall arise, The Wolves of Sirame. The responsibilities of our Order are to protect the interests of Laureh’lin by keeping the peace, providing government authority, and serving as Laureh’lin’s standing military. The Wolves of Sirame calls to all mali’ame of reasonable strength and logistical understanding to help ensure the growing affluence of our most glorious province.

 

All mali seeking to join the Wolves of Sirame shall swear to the following oaths:

 

~To observe and uphold our code of honor~

~To put the safety of the citizenry before the safety of one’s self~

~To enforce the law with both firmness and honor, not by wielding fear~

~To respect and obey all orders from those higher up the chain of command~

~To serve the Province of Laureh’lin in honor and faith, to keep it free and peaceful, in life until death~

 

 

The following statutes shall constitute the Order’s internal principles

1. No sentient being shall advance from one rank tier to another without having served in the preliminary tier for at least two elven days.

2. The government of Laureh’lin shall never appoint a sentient being to a rank tier if they have not served at the preliminary tier for the minimum time requirement of two elven days. An exception to this regulation may be made following a vote from the Heial’fiyem and the Princeps, the result must be unanimous for a nomination to be implemented.

3. No member of the Wolves of Sirame shall be excused from obeying the laws of Laureh’lin.

4. Any member of a certain rank tier must obey any orders given to them by a member of a higher tier at all times. Should members of multiple rank tiers direct orders to a member of a lower rank tier, that member of a lower rank tier shall first obey the orders of the member of the highest tier.

5. When addressing a member of a higher rank tier, that member shall be referred to by their rank title, not by their name.

6. Promotions may only be handed out by the Mercah’ir. The one exception to this rule is that Laureh’niuts may promote Fi’sil to the second rank tier.

 

The Ranking System

 

 

{Tier 6}

The Mercah’ir (High Commander)

The leader of the Wolves of Sirame, who receives instructions from the Princeps and is responsible for the execution of those orders. The Mercah’ir’s word is law, his orders go above all others of lower rank.

Armor and Weaponry: None

{Tier 5}

The Laureh’niuts (Chosen Seconds)

The upper ruling tier of the Wolves of Sirame, they receive instructions from the Mercah’ir and make sure that they are enforced. There may only be two Laureh’niuts at any given time, each will be given a duty of either peacekeeping or supply during peacetime. Failure to follow their orders will result in a punishment decided by the Mercah’ir.

{Tier 4}

The Fiyem’celia (Reborn Stars)

The Fiyem’celias are individuals who have distinguished themselves during their servitude as Annil’tahorran. They are training to eventually become Laureh’niuts and function as assistants for the current Laureh’niuts so that they can better understand the duties of leadership.There may only be one Fiyem’celia at any given time, and they are very rarely selected.

Payment: 16 bales of hay of hay per elven week.

Armor and Weaponry: Standard issue ferrum armor, longsword, and a bow of choice.

{Tier 3}

The Annil’tahorran (Guiding Hawks)

The Annil’tahorann are elite rangers and scouts that have demonstrated their ability to lead small groups. They are responsible for a small detachment of 3-4 Leyu’berr and Leyu’sil in battle, which will serve as task forces to carry out different objectives.

Payment:  8 bales of hay per elven week.

Armor and Weaponry: Standard issue chainmail armor, longsword, and a bow of choice.

{Tier 2}

The Leyu’berr 2 (Graceful Bows)

The Leyu’berr make up the majority of the ranged forces of the Order. They go on regular patrols around and outside of Cerulin along with the Leyu’sil. During wartime they will be either deployed at the back line or assigned to special task forces.

Payment: . 8 bales of hay per elven week.

Armor and Weaponry: Standard issue chainmail armor, ferrum dagger, and a bow of choice.

The Leyu’sil (Graceful Blades)

The Leyu’sil make up the bulk of the infantry forces of the Order. They act as personal bodyguards for the Mercah’ir and Laureh’niuts and perform regular guard duties along with the Leyu’berr.

Payment: 8 bales of hay per elven week.

Armor and Weaponry: Standard issue ferrum armor, longsword or spear

{Tier 1}

The Fi’sil (New Blades)

The Fi’sil are the newly enlisted members of the Wolves of Sirame. They have absolutely no authority and must train vigorously before they take their entry oaths. All initiates go through a skill assessment before being fully inducted into the Order.

Payment: 8 bales of hay per elven week.

Armor and Weaponry: Standard issue chainmail armor, longsword, and a bow of choice.
