Why do you want to be a builder for the ET?

 

Building and pvp are basically my favorite things about minecraft, and I would like to put my building skills to use for lotc since I know they would be used by other players. I was also apart of the 4.0 build team.

Are you an independent builder, and are you capable of handling all aspects of a build?

I don’t usually ask for assistance, though I do collaborate from time to time.

Do you know much about redstone?

I’m competent and can give examples if needed.

How long does it take for you to complete a build?

Depends on the size of the build. Big projects, like “http://imgur.com/uKBXtCh” usually take up to a day, or more. Other stuff usually takes less.

Tell us how you plan on constructing a large build, a medium build, and a small build.

For a small build I basically just build on the spot with no planning. A medium build I do plan out, such as the base which I outline using wool to make it out. For large builds I mark everything out and start from the base and move my way up much like with medium builds.

Additional details (Do you know how to Voxel? World Edit? Craftbook? Etc….):

I’m versed in mostly WorldEdit and Craftbook. I sometimes dabble in voxel, though it's used mostly for terrain and I’m more so into buildings.

Tell me a trick about building (eg:floating torches, custom heads)  

I really don’t have any trick when it comes to building. In fact I would probably argue the opposite, that most of it comes from skill and knowledge rather than tricks and gimmicks. If I had to give a little idea… I guess the usage of ender portals as light sources could count?

Tell me what you want from the ET. Honestly, I’ve been on the server since 2.0 and building since I bought minecraft. I want to contribute to the server and one way of doing that is to build.
