  1. 1. Should Forced Conquest be implemented on 4.0?

Recommended Posts

Tbh, I like forced conquest, its a really fun thing to implement. BUT! As the great Mogroka has said, it will not do good on Athera.

Forced conquest would work well with a map the size of asulon and a active playerbase of at least 300 consistent, but Athera is like 10x smaller than asulon and we're lucky to even hit 150 in a day lol. Average is like 80-90 right now.

The map is too small, and nations aren't allowed individual regions, only nexus plots (which are no longer allowed to be made.) Its gonna cause more problems than any good.

Sooo

It's currently 93 for and 43 against.

How much longer will this poll stay up?

I swear, if you dirty bastards hurt Gimblewood... (keep the system monitored, it's important that nation leaders keep cool heads and try to decide what's best for the server rather than their nation. I'm all for it as long as it's fairly monitored!)

Even if 80% put strongly agree and 20% disagree in general then this still should not be passed on this alone becuase 20% will still be pissed 20% is 1/5 of the server, thats a lot of people. If this is just passed through with little consideration for that 20% then we could see a very unfair systen yet again puting for radical restrictions on war in reponse to that system (as always with a system that is not fair we will continue to have war system after war system). This is I belive part of a good system in the right circumstances still.

Learn a thing, friendo. You /cannot/ please everyone.

It is clear from the poll that the majority /wants/ forced conquest in some form.

Better to piss off ~45 than ~105 people, right?

Any particular reason why GMs are voting on the polls?

Because they play the game too and have their own opinions.

I understand what you mean by this, but explain why a nation leader would not in-RP do what is best for their nation, but rather what a group of people that they in-RP dislike and are attacking want?

I mean, yes, people like the roleplay they currently have, but I do feel that part of roleplay is having to deal with situations you would realistically not be able to just wave off.
