As a fellow pirate, uninstall utorrent. IIRC it uses your computer to install a bitcoin miner. Use something like Deluge or another torrent alternative.

 

 

I was trying to post this before, but the forums were lagging me up. 

I moved to Deluge, and don't regret it. It's so much better than utorrent, plus no tricksy ads when downloading.
