A old solider walks in wearing a rusted suit of armor of the Gendarmes.

"I was not present to defend m'lord when the Imperium fell."

Lorina bows her head in sympathy. "I understand you pain, my friend. But you have committed niet sin. Your only sin is refusing to forgive yourself."

"We do not see life through the Creator's eyes. We cannot predict the future. We do not know what will happen at any given moment. The fall of the Imperium took everyone by surprise. Perhaps you committed an act of negligence by not being there for your lord. But that was many years ago now. It is time to forgive yourself and move on. Make your negligence right by saving new lives. Dwelling on the past is a waste of time when we could be creating - and protecting - the future."

Lorina laughs softly. "That is a question for the ages, is it not? 'What is a sin?' When you sin, you profane the sacred laws of the Creator. You laugh in the face of God and deny his proclamations. You destroy what is sacred and pure. You profaned the Creator-ordained institution of marriage by lying outside of it. That is a sin."

"Murder is a sin because, my child, you do not have the authority to end another's life. Life - all life - is sacred. All life is touched by the Creator. Life is a miracle created by His hand. Now, others may disagree with me on this. Some see killing as a necessary evil. A wicked sin, da, but an inescapable one. But you must ask this question - why are you killing?"

"Is it for your own selfish desires? Or is it for the good of all people?"

"A murder can be justified if the victim is a monster, a sinner. If the murder would save the lives of the Faithful. That is true Justice. Yet even then, killing is a terrible burden and a stain on the soul. But killing on a whim - ending a sacred life for your own selfish gain - is the blackest and most wicked of sins."

"People come to me with many questions, but I think - in truth - they know the answers already for themselves. You ask me, 'is killing a sin?' But you are asking me because you have doubts. You say you do not regret your actions, but - on some level - you do. You would not be here in my confession booth if you did not."

Cheza's head tilts from side to side, a soft jingle from her necklaces heard as the metal moves and bumps into each other. "I think I understand that part a bit better now. So to sin is to break one of His laws or to taint something that is sacred and pure. Then in that case I suppose I have a list of sins. As I've already said I've slept with men outside of marriage, even cheating on partners to do so. Though it has been many years since I last did that act, and I do not plan on doing so again." The elf pauses to think.

"I've harmed, tormented, and killed those who either harmed or posed a threat to ones I valued. This has varied from manipulating them to outright taking an axe to their skull. I have coveted that which isn't mine, and often done whatever was needed to obtain it. This includes men. I associate with beings that others would call dark or unholy. Even count some of them as close friends. Quite the list for one who used to serve one of His Aenguls, eh?"

She giggles softly, as if her own last statement amused her, pausing for a moment before she casually adds "Oh, nearly forgot I've also dined on the flesh of other Descendants. It started out as a necessity, living alone in the wild I couldn't always get the meat I knew I needed in my diet. But I could find fresh corpses. Cooked up just right we don't taste so bad. Now I consider it a treat if I find a body in good condition that needs... Disposing. I've even fed such meals to my family."

"There is one thing though... That I am uncertain of still. I am of pure elven blood, the body I was given makes this rather obvious. However, my husband is not. The two children we were blessed with are not. I often hear that what I've done is selfish or that I've condemned my bloodline for generations. Would the Creator agree? Does He have a law against such love? My husband was the one to begin teaching me of the Faith and converting me. So I do not think our relationship is a sin as he did not mention that. Yet people react so strongly to it at times that it made me wonder."

Lorina frowns deeply as she contemplates the woman's long list of sins. She clears her throat delicately - wondering, perhaps, what brought so many murderers and cannibals to her confession booth.

"Eh... on the list of sins, I would say that cannibalism ranks a little higher than infidelity and miscegenation. The acts you have committed are indeed horrible. They are among the most horrible sins one person can do. My God - to think you fed mortal flesh to your own family! Your own children! Truly - you saw nothing wrong with these actions? A person should rather die than feed off of another child of the Creator!"

"By all accounts, your actions have turned you into a monster in the eyes of the law. My only advice is to turn yourself over to the Marked Men and accept whatever punishment they dole out to you. Infidelity and miscegenation pale in comparison to the sin of cannibalism. And - forcing others to partake of cannibalism without their knowledge! That is the most terrible thing I can imagine."

"I cannot say there is salvation for you, except in justice. Turn yourself in and end this life of terrible sin."

Daniel looks to the confessional, seeing as several people come and go. He knows they are revealing their sins to the devout folk of His church. He gulps slightly, it is time to reveal to them his most terrible of sins. He goes into the confessional, sitting down gently.

"Once I was bartending, and someone asked for a bottle of whiskey, but I gave them a vodka instead." he whispers to the other side of the booth.

"Thank the Creator for at least one normal person. Just apologize for your mistake and all will be well, da?"

Ash'ya Camoryn wanders into the church uneasily, her gaze lowered to the floor as her thoughts run through her mind. She dresses in a long red dress, her head covered by a shawl and her ears hidden by the mass of red hair on the top of her head. As she approaches the booth, she lifts her gaze and stands in place for a few moments as she processes the situation.

Did she need to confess? Or would her betrayals and uncertainties sort themselves out in time? She had never been a woman to think before acting. . this was an unusual feeling she had.

Regardless of what would be right or wrong in this scenario, those within the church would see a small, red haired woman leave, her gaze trained once more to the ground as she heads back to her home.

Oz Rolph wanders into the church, eyes wet with tears. He looks back at the doors as he nears the confessional, right arm holding onto his left. He gnaws on his lower lip in thought, in fear. Taking a deep breath he steps into the confessional and takes a seat. He glances over at the woman behind the partition only moving his eyes before dropping his gaze towards the floor. His fingers wrestle with each other atop his lap as he sits quietly preparing to speak. "I've been having... Having strange feelings" he whispers quietly, voice filled with anguish. Pausing for a moment his heart begins to beat faster, his bottom lip trembling. "For men" he whispers. A single tear rolls down from his left eye. "I don't know why... I wasn't always this way! I don't think I was! I mean... I don't know! I don't know what to do or what to say or what to think... I'm so afraid... So very afraid!" he speaks quickly, voice shaking.

"I burned down a church."

An old, cloaked man enters the confessional booth. He sighs as he lowers his hood, revealing the mess of grey and blonde hair which hangs raggedly around his forehead.

"Sister, I've done maneh thin's in meh loife which I am nae proud ov'. I used tah beh part ov' an infantry unit which specialized in assassinations an' executions ov' teh unwanted. I've crucified, maimed, scalped an' killed maneh elves. As I've killed maneh who fly their name under teh Carrion banner. Though there is a difference between maneh ov' those whom 'ave entered 'ere, askin' fer forgiveness. I wish tah know why I dunnae feel aneh regret tah murderin' dese people, I feel accomplished an' proud when I 'old teh scalp ov' a Carrion. Or when teh ears ov' teh knife-un's 'ang 'round meh neck, they're jus' monsters in my eyes, eh? But maneh woul' look down upon meh if I mentioned meh career, mentioned 'ow I pride myself on ensurin' meh Kaedreni blood runs through meh veins an' ensures a better Oren."

The man pauses as he adjusts his left glove, his brown eyes lowering before continuing his confession.

"Why do I nae feel fer others loike other creator servin' fellas. Wot 'as teh Creator done tah meh tah remove all bloodeh thoughts ov' regret an' empathy which others have."

Lorina frowns deeply. She glances around, as if to make sure that no one else is listening. Leaning closer to the partition, she begins to whisper.

"Love is not a sin," she replies. "Love is never a sin. Lust - da, that is a great and terrible sin. But love? Never. Love is pure and good and holy. It is a blessing from the Creator. The Creator Himself is a being of infinite love for his creation. So do not be afraid to love someone."

"I would caution you not to act on your lust, though. Keep your love pure and holy. Do not taint it with carnal desires. A chaste love between two men is just the same as the love between a man and a woman. Remember that the love you feel is a part of the love the Creator feels for all creation. Keep it chaste and holy."

A heavyset dwarf walks in, taking a heavy seat. He carries a bucket of oil with him and a flaming torch.

"I burned down a church."

"How lucky this church is made of stone, isn't it?"

Lorina listens to the man's confession. "Let me tell you a secret," she whispers through the partition grate. "I am a Carrion. A descendant of St. Siegmund himself - his own granddaughter. The reason you've never felt any empathy - I think - is because you have never seen your enemies as humans just like you are. I am here to tell you - I am a Carrion, but I am also a woman with hopes and dreams and love in her heart. I love my friends and my family and I have dedicated my life to protecting and shepherding others toward Grace."

"Let me say - I forgive you for what you've done. And let me offer you the hand of friendship. Perhaps I can help guide you toward a better way to live."

Sentis would notice what appeared to be a church on his way through the human lands. He walks inside the large stone building, looking around aimlessly for a while before noticing the human in the robes beckoning him.

He would walk over and sit down in the box, shifting uncomfortably in the seat as he thought of something to say.

"I don't know if you humans consider these things to be sins or not, but I'll confess them anyway. I was taken by slavers in Adria not too long ago, and instead of fighting them like an honourable Mali'Ame, I let them take me, even to get so far as  the lands of the Uruks before I could bear it no longer. The second thing that you humans may or may not consider sinful is my dealings with bandits. I may have errrm, been captured by bandits, once again near Adria, and seeing as they had swords much sharper than my own, and armour for that matter; I decided to go with them. In the end, they offered to pay me if I brought them weapons such as bows and arrows, and I accepted."

After blurting all of this out, Sentis sits back in the seat and breathes deeply, before finishing with this: "I am now an officer of a long forgotten order that has sworn to protect its allies to the last drop of blood, I do not feel that I could stay true to this oath if I considered bandits as my allies."

Lorina ponders his words for a while. "Well... misfortune is niet sin, my friend. It is not your fault that you were kidnapped - nor was it that you did not fight back. Your life is a blessing from the Creator - a blessing you must protect. Sometimes that means you mustn't fight."

"As for defecting to the bandits... your reasons are your own and I shall not judge them. However, you ought to repent for the evils you committed under the bandits. If you stole or killed in the name of gold, then you need to return what you've taken and turn yourself into the proper authorities."

"Don't worry - you too can walk the path of righteousness."
