Removal Of The Mentor Team

Hello everyone,

 

With the transition of AT lead from myself to TauFireWarrior, we have agreed wholeheartedly that, among some other internal changes, we will be removing the Mentor sub-team. Neither of us feel that this team is exactly necessary, and we have decided that the best course of action is consolidation with the singular AT role. It is expected, naturally, of our Application Team members that they are always around in the Wandering Souls chat, in-game private messages, and on the forums to help both new and seasoned players. Thus, we look forward to an active and engaged Application Team, not only there to accept incoming players, but to inform and make them feel welcome.

I believe this was the right decision. I remember the first person I talked to all those years ago when I joined this server was the person who accepted me. Having the people who accept new players, ALSO the ones who guide them, is a really good idea for seemlessness in my opinion.

Whilst that would've been nice if it was true, and it really /should/ be true... It wasn't really coming out that way. Although, with region changes to the new map, people are already being recruited tons more and getting help to settle into communities, as they won't realistically be able to survive on their own like last time with Nexus plots.

 

Either way, I had fun on the team, and enjoyed working with all of you friends!
