To His Majesty, King Olivier Ashford de Savoie,

 

These traitorous scum, these members of House de Sola, who masquerade as nobility and massacre their peers and strike at your own councilors, who litter the countryside with the blood and  bodies of Adrani and Kaedreni, still run free and conduct raids from their Keep of Dour Watch.

 

These murderous savages, these knavish brutes, have torn asunder both the realm, the law, and the bodies of your loyal vassals. Even still they march upon the Keep of Barrowyk and seek to capture and kill the members and servants of House Vladov, who are grieving in their halls for those they have already lost.

 

These craven conspirators, these wolfish hearth-slayers, did not take such actions out of any noble cause or aim, but to halt the proceedings of a trial that only sought to brand their kin with a hot iron for consorting with an abomination to end the lives of your citizens and potentially even yourself, a merciful punishment that did not nearly do justice to the crime committed.

 

The family Vladov now readies their blades behind their gates and walls, barely able to venture outside without being accosted by a man of the Dour Watch or his de Sola puppet masters. The Duke Sarkozic and two of your own privy councilors lie wounded, and yet the House de Sola still runs free, untouched by the King's Law.

 

There is only one recourse for a King who, like yourself, is judicious and sagacious. There is only one recourse to salve the bleeding wounds of your Kingdom. Either the heads of the de Sola traitors are mounted on pikes by the order of the crown and their members stripped of nobility, or we will purge the family de Sola from this kingdom by whatever means necessary, root and stem.
