The Empire of Oceanus

ImperialBanner.png

The fabled myth of the land of Australasia was told to many of the citizens when they were children, often used in propaganda. Stories said they made metal men and beasts that would defend their lands when the time came to do so. When the long night fell the Empire of Oceanus rose up from the darkness consisting of twelve Elector Counts who banded their territories together to form the Empire. Each Count being responsible for their territories in hereditary leadership they act as Governors, administrators and Generals for the regiments they raise for the Imperial Army. In this current period of time each province of the Empire is healthy, affluent and growing as each Elector Count wants his or her territory to be the strongest to stand a chance of being elected Emperor when the incumbent dies or abdicates.

On this day a new Emperor had been chosen, voted in by the Elector Counts unanimously, Emperor Karl Ecroyd had been chosen now fully styled His Imperial Majesty Karl Ecroyd, Elector Count of Bowral, Grand Duke of the Imperial Crownlands, Lord of Empire City and Protector of the Empire. A young and aspiring politician and nobleman showing great promise he is praised by noble and commoner alike for being the bridge between classes through patriotism, economic growth and modernization. The Nation was connected through a train line that was nationalized, with the money taken in from passengers being used to develop trains and improve them more. The land of Oceanus had always been a rich one, however it was only recently in the last fifty years that Coal Mines opened up, along with the discovery of Natural gas. Ores such as iron, gold, zinc, silver and even diamonds were found in the mines, it is thought that if they ventured into the great desert they'd find more opportunity to mine and more ores with it.

The Empire would send an expeditionary force of a few hundred explorers and soldiers into the edges of the desert to look for signs of resources such as ores (( Mod approval ))

Due to the lack of the oil and petroleum of the past, when electricity was discovered it was made more efficient than it once was, allowing more power for less environmental damage in the long run, albeit an unintended side effect. The Emperor had a speech in mind for his people now he had been crowned "My brothers and sisters, good people of the Empire, it is I, Karl Ecroyd your Emperor. We are a nation of a glorious history, when our forefathers formed the Empire out of despot little Kingdoms thousands of years ago who knew that it would grow to be a great power in this modern age. I'll tell you why we are successful, it is us, the sacrifice we make in order to progress our society. Under my reign the Empire will open its ports and borders to trade from all nations who wish for our custom and our produce. We have some of the most expansive farmland and agriculture in the world, along with the finest ores from our mines as our land has blessed us with plenty. Thank you citizens of the Empire and may we continue to grow together."

The Kingdom of Windsoria is met with open arms, the Emperor is pleased that they wish for trade between their nations and accepts a Naval Alliance, seeking to grow its own navy due to the rumors of pirates that roam the seas as of late. It is announced that the two nations had entered an alliance of Military and Trade, newspapers around the world would soon report on it.

The Falklands would receive a diplomat from the Empire looking to discuss matters of trade and commerce so that both nations may benefit from such talks.

The Republic of Andor would recieve diplomats from the Empire looking to discuss a trade agreement that allows both nations to cross each others borders for trade more easily so Private Enterprise from both nations can benefit from having to pay less tariffs and fees to cross the border with produce.

The Republic of Kuanesh

28bqZ3n.jpg

On the island of Kuanesh, a warm tropical breeze flows in from offshore, floating over the jungles on the west coast and across the plantations on the northernmost tip, and gently brushing the balcony of a stately mansion in the hills of the capital city of Javakta, where Aji Wira Agusalim eats his breakfast. It was finer food than he had been accustomed to in his youth: fresh tuna, hauled from the straits of Langgar the previous afternoon, rice harvested from the farms which fiulled the lowlands of his island, and pineapple from the plantations in the wet, forested hills.

Before him sprawls the great port city in which he had been born and raised. Situated on the Bay of Sungai, Javakta bustles with life, a thousand civilian trade ships leaving and entering the harbor every day.

Shanghai1.jpg

h80422.jpg

The city was as beautiful to him as the island itself, situated as it was in a natural harbor, with sweeping mountains behind it and the calm, sheltered waters of the Gallipigos in front. It was here that the old kings of Kuanesh had ruled, here that the last of them had been ousted by his people. For centuries, this city had been the crown jewel of the loveliest island in the world, and now it was the seat of a great republic, one that commanded islands for hundreds of miles in all directions.

Under Wira's predecessors, Kuanesh had come to dominate the western Pacific, and the fingers of its trade companies reached as far as Eichi to the far west. The nearby islands of the Gallipigos had long ago submitted to the will of Kuanesh and joined in its glorious republic. Now, Wira thought as he speared a slice of pineapple, it was time to solidify their presence abroad.

And so, Wira Agusalim's first act as Aji is to provide government support for commerce, through the commissioning of a new national trade hub. (-25,000 Rupiahs) An extension of the port itself, it can be expected to greatly increase the capacity for loading and unloading goods in the largest city of Kuanesh.

But Wira would not be remembered for a simple extension of his country's infrastructure. He had been raised under the belief that the Kuanese were the true lords of the Pacific, and under his reign, he would see that happen. For twenty years, the Kuanese army had seen little use: with the unification of the Gallipigos finished, they had found themselves lacking purpose. It is a shame, thinks Wira as he finishes the last of his fish, that 200,000 fighting men were not being put to good use, stationed on their home islands, ready for action but never given it. Well, that would have to change...

F1krSZw.jpg

By executive order, drilling begins anew for the most inactive regiments, while a declaration is issued to the thousand isles of the republic that under their new Aji their government would not sit idle, and so neither should they. Aji Wira would bring the Pacific under Kuanese sway, but it would be the Kuanese themselves who keep it. Soon, new lands would be open to taking, and it would be the responsibility of the trade companies and citizens to colonize them, to make them productive, to strengthen the Republic.

And to cement his message, Wira summons 15,000 of the marines for deployment. The colonization of the Pacific would start immediately. The first 5,000 sail east, where they land on the islands closest to the mainland. There, they will secure Kuanese control over the region and prepare for the arrival of settlers.

iqC1gL8.png

The remaining 10,000 have a longer journey ahead of them however, for they will sail west. In the center of the Pacific lies an archipelago which Wira believes to be essential to the supply of transoceanic sea voyages. Even after many decades of the Kuanese crossing the sea to trade, it remains unexplored, but the army would bring whatever it contained, if anything, to heel, and soon it would serve the republic.

It is an exciting time in Kuanesh, and the mood is optimistic. Most of the treasury is kept intact for the time being, to be used for something greater in the future.

Republic of Andor

"Now children, be still and listen!" mistress Lini said in a stern but warm voice. The three sat amidst the glass gardens in a wing of the Queen's palace. Lini, and her two charges for the day. Elayne and Gawyn Trakand were a year apart, Gawyn being the older of fourteen.

"Now, who brought together the Republic as we know it today?"

Elayne chimed in, eager to make amends. "Egwene Trakand, the noble lady!"

"Good, and how, why, and what did she create?"

Not it was Gawyns turn to speak; "The merchants of the cities put wealth before their people. They worked them hard for little to nothing, and then some. They bought all the senators, to draft their wretched laws. They hired foreign mercenaries to oppress our people, customarily peaceful. Money was not spared for our people, and the poor began to starve. Artisans and scholars could not afford themselves, and knowledge crumbled."

Elayne took up where he left off. "And then one of the nobles, our ancestor Egwene, rallied her noble friends. They traveled through the mountains, where the merchants grip was weak. Raising an army, they waited. The common people of Andor rose against the merchants, and Egwene marched with them."

"And a war so bloody ensued we will not talk about it" Lini put in. "And how did house Trakand and the common people ensure our Republic as it is today?"

Elayne finished the lesson; "As a noble, Egwene claimed the right to Queen hood. But to ensure the Republics ideals stayed true, the nation would stay a Republic. The monarchy is an institution of the republic, not above it, but apart of it. The Senators were still rich merchants true, but moderate Trakands have always been there to keep them in check. It is a balance of two forces, ensuring mutual interest in peace. All politics happen in the capital, ensuring a centralized government."

"Not to mention the people's house" Gawyn added. "They have the power of not being focused in Camelyn. Smaller town and city councils, governing their counties of the republic. They can gather at Camelyn however to decide large votes."

"That's enough for today children, go play. And give your mother a warm welcome, she has a long day ahead of her..."

~~

Morgase Trakand, Queen of Andor, was very excited. Staring at a painting of her great ancestor, Egwene, she felt a strength radiate from the women. Things were going as planned, and the treasury was bursting. Just yesterday national trade hubs began being built throughout the nation. Harnessing the rich jungle wood of the Inner land, the gold mines along Camelyn, and the coast rich with fish. But the true beauty of Andor lay in it's craftsmen, scholars, artisans, and great thinkers. The Senate and Queen alike bought up surplus food from farmers, and distributed it to the poor and artisans. Many a skilled person could find patronage in Camelyn, and the innovations were grand. Glass blowers rubbed shoulders with carpet weavers, while goldsmiths strut about with a arrogant air. Toy makers show off their latest trinkets, a Zeppelin ballon that could float off some sort of gas. A hat salesman fitted a scholar's head, the man deeply embedded in a book on the aerodynamics of flight.

Morgase was excited for the improvements to the economy, but not entirely that. Her true passion was that of the skies. Camelyn itself lay amidst the large mountains of the inner continent. Rich valleys were strewn in between the mountains, filled with jungle. The city was perched on mountains peaks, connected with bridges and floating docks. Terraced farm land worked it's way up the mountain side, along with whole districts of craftsmen. The Queen's Palace stood on a mountain central of the city. The highest peak, a great dye maker had colored the stone in rainbow streaks. A large tower more then palace, it rose splendidly into the air. Housing was large, dozens of artist, scholars, and innovators under patronage of the queen. The only way to reach the city was by Zeppelin, cable car, or a long hike.

An innovator had made Morgase truly why she was excited. Zeppelins were already a failing commodity in the world. But not in Andor, they had indeed flourished. Always easier to go over jungle then through it, Zeppelins are the main form of transportation. As the market grew so did the quality. Zeppelins were more refined, cheaply carrying people and goods. They have been around for years, different types being made. But John Bull had made the first zeppelin purely for military.

Invention Type (Military/Civilian/Etc): Military
Invention Name: Bulls
Inventor: John Bull
Description (At least a DETAILED paragraph):  Zeppelins for commercial and civilian use are common in the republic. But never was one used for purely military until now. Bulls are small ship shaped versions of larger zeppelins. Almost like a galleon in the sky, the hulls are lightly reinforced with steel. The balloons are also reinforced with a endurable material, and are made strong enough to carry the extra weight. Turbines powered by strong electric batteries and coal stoves power the maneuvering turbines. The turbines were the true masterpieces, allowing the Bulls to actually maneuver well in the skies. The only crew needed is a captain, two gunners, and an engineer. There was no comfortable sleeping quarters or cargo hold, instead a empty room to house the engine, and eight uncomfortable dragoons. Guns consist of five water cooled pepper guns. The engineer was also responsible for dropping payloads of cluster bombs.

The Republic of Andor was that of great thinkers and artist. Their army was not seen as a tool of state. It was to ensure the safety of the people first and foremost, and the unity of the Republic. The Republican Regiments were the main army. They were the majority of the troops in the Republic's disposal. Mainly of common folk, adventurers, mercenaries, and nobles, they were small in size. Ten thousand strong, they were in honored positions. The army was kept small on purpose to be highly organized, led, and trained. These men were disciplined, and led by officers trained in the war colleges of Camelyn. The Republic's army would always be small, but tried to make up for it in advantages and skill.

The Queen's Dragoons were the core of the army. One thousand strong, these men were adventurers or noblemen. They were a fierce and capacious lot, but highly disciplined. They travelled about in zeppelins, being wherever the queen needs them.

post-535-1184014369.jpgAn expedition is sent to an island. Twelve Zeppelins fly to it, carrying ten diplomats, five translators, a senator, and one hundred Dragoons. A steamship detachment carrying a more hefty force of eight thousand Republican regiments head out much slower. The diplomats would try to arrange for a peaceful establishment of a trade post. ((Can't use map editor right now, but the bottommost island of the three directly on top of each other to the east coast of Oceanis.))

The Empire of Oceanu's offer is accepted. A continental railroad is suggested, spanning across the Andor held land bridge.

A canal is drafted to be built through the thinnest segment of Andor's land bridge. The queens greatest thinkers and engineers are put to the task ((Mod needed for cost and success))

The Ministry of Infrastructure updates its maps and infrastructure accordingly, as new roads and railways are planned to maintain accessability throughout the state's territories. It will take {{3 pages}} to fully complete the infrastructural expansion and {{2 pages more}} to fully finish the settlements. The final draft is yet to be made, although the new borders are claimed and established, but yet to be recognized. The military fortifies itself with trenches and establishes supply lines to maintain these borders, as 30.000 more are mobilized to join these forces in the east.  {{Mod approved.}}

The Empire of Eiichi

fmjyK7L.jpg

Stars equal to the number of Houses, two dots representing the "two sides to every coin" mentality, a line connecting the two representing balance.

Map:

dY9f8aV.png

The Isles of Eiichi have been renowned for being almost blessed; the land was fertile, and the massive, singular mountain in the middle of its largest island was taken as a sign from their gods of the center of the world.

A man, General Izayi Ten Wei, was driving in his Takaya Wave from his mansion to the Great Palace. The House of Izayi was one of the Heavenly Chi Houses, the governing body of the Empire, a chain of large islands under complete military dominance. The 7 houses were said to have descended from various Eiichian (pronounced Ay-chi-yan) gods, with the House of Yamaterasu the undisputed rulers.

He had black hair, brown eyes, and very lightly tanned skin, instantly making him at least upper class. Most inhabitants have the same black hair and brown eyes, but are incredibly tanned. Those that are pale almost seem to be a different race from the others, with sophistication lost on the "Second Class".

The Empire of Eiichi had said to have been in existence since before the year 1 AN, when the House Yamaterasu first dominated the main island south of Mont Feiichi. It quickly expanded to take over the other Eiichian nation-states, and history has solid proof that it united the continent in 135 AN. In the following years, the conquered leaders' houses and House Yamaterasu became the Heavenly Chi, with almost independence-level control over their individual demesnes.

What could best be described as the Eiichi Civil War began in 322 AN, when the Inako and Hiruta of Seinu and Keinu went to war over dominance of the island. For forty years, 6 of the 7 fought each other in blood baths across the islands, and when it was decided the infighting was enough, Yamaterasu took huge amounts of power from the Houses, becoming undisputed now both by divine right and it being now more powerful than the others combined.

Since then, peace has been held on the islands except for the occasional barbarian raid from Ruasia. The nation has stayed on par with the others around the world, with trade going to and from the islands and its neighbors.

The military of Eiichi, centered in "bloodshed", would adopt a flag of a red circle on white, the inverse of the empire's white circle surrounded by stars numbering the same as the amount of noble houses. At its head was Emperor Yamaterasu Teiko, a 16 year old woman that had to appear as a man in front of her people - since the advent of "globalization" and new merchanting between Eiichi and nearby harbors, the empire was unstable, and if another power found out her gender, a war could begin.

To reap the benefits of international trade, a national trade hub begins construction (-25000 gold). The manpower of Eiichi is spread out among the empire's various cities, with 20,000 in each city and the capital holding 80,000. That means that while its entire military manpower is trained, the government could only field 80,000-120,000 in an offensive war.

To the north, Eiichi fisherman often saw a clean, beautiful coastline. As plans have been in place for years to leave the islands themselves, colonists begin to move en masse to the coastline, with 20,000 troops to subdue and assimilate any small towns found there.

Though they profess they don't believe at all in what the Olympians and Duchy of Fenris do, the Empire of Eiichi offers mutual friendship pacts to both.

Gran Republicate duc Campestribus

NgwUWGf.jpg

The Staff meeting in Valenza was going on, as usual people from the military, clergy and common worker. Dom Emmanuhel de Novum Lisbona, Gran Mercant Princep Joan Valentinianus, Supremus General Hadrian-duc-Sanctus and Leader of the Syndicates Gil Hugh are all present in the big conference table in the Grand Merchant’s palace.

“Our economy as shrunk, as you all know. Mostly because we have lost our trade capabilities. I’d say we move north and south. We retake ancient lands that belonged to our dear empire of antiquity, and we take the mountains, filled with the precious ores our growing economy so desperatly needs.”

The Gran Princep sits down as he finishes speaking.

The Supreme General stands up.

“I do agree with the Princep, not only do we need resources but we also need to have some sort of ground to test our soldiers. And this could also cement our standing as a legitimate nation with a powerful military.”

Dom Emmanuhel stands as the General sits.

“The people of the unmarked lands have for too long forgotten God. The men of the south still cling to their old prophet and to their ‘allah’. I say we end it and bring them to the light.”

The old cleric sits as the syndicalist stands.

“But what about the people? Will you forget them? We work tirelessly day and night to feed this country and you want us to make us do /more/?! And how many families will be torn when their children go to these new lands? What if they die?! What then? I say no to this!”

The Gran Princep speaks up.

“Measure will be made to...better your working condition...Now, as for the /soldiers/ dying not only will we provide aid to the family as well as support. But let’s not forget that /they/ signed to fight for their country. They aren’t children they can make up their mind. Now, let us vote. I vote yes.”

“Yes.”

“Yes.”

“No.”

10.000 Soldiers are sent to the northern regions ((Light Blue)), too subdue any locals that object and to ensure peace and stability. While, 10.000 troops as well as 8.000 civilians are sent via steamboat south.

The 8.000 civilians are sent by the General in charge of this occupation and they settle near the sea, and they name the settlement Novum Ceuta ((Black Dot)), while the soldiers do a general ‘cleaning’ procedure in the area before they go south to exert a ‘zone of control’. [Mod Please]

THE UNITED KINGDOM OF WINDSORIA

Alternative-designs-proposed-for-the-uni

In the warm summer weather of Campestribus, the leaders of the three major nations of Western Evropa had met in the Campestrian capital city of Valenza to discuss foreign relations and how to repair them. However, what had arisen from the conference had been totally unexpected by all parties.

"The Three", as they were called, had masterfully made reparations for the devastating Triple War of old, and had entered their nations into a new alliance: The Central Concordant.

Three.jpg

THE CENTRAL CONCORDANT CHARTER:

Treaty of Valenza

the_united_republic_of_europa_by_achaley

The Triple Alliance has been established between Del Republicate duc Campestribus, La Fédération européenne and the United Kingdom of Windsoria. This treaty has been signed in the fourteenth of May of 1400 A.N/3445 A.D, and by the signature the member countries promise each other the following:

-Each member country shall protect any other member country that is at war;

-Each member country shall give economic aid to any needing member country;

-Each member country is equal;

-Each member country shan’t pose any embargos on each other;

-Each member country shan’t break territorial bounds;

-Each member country shan’t suppress another member country’s culture;

Grand Mercantile Princep Joan Valentinianus

Incumbent Premier Julian Trudeau

His Royal Majesty George XXI Windsor

And so, with the new treaty-charter signed, the end of an era had been brought about, and a new one had begun. One where Western Evropa would work together to secure their borders, their assets, and their cultures in the new electrical world. One where past differences had been resolved, and age-old conflicts forgotten. One where the descendants of the Imperium would once again work together to achieve their goals.

=================================

Meanwhile, the government in Lauria awaits news from the expedition to Waelicia. ((MOD PLEASE))

In addition to awaiting news from Waelicia, the King has been emboldened by Campestribus and the Federation's expansionism to take even greater steps in securing new lands for his people. Further expansionism is ordered, and a number of civilian colonists along with military escorts of 10,000 men each embark across the western Northern Sea to create two colonies on the supposedly uninhabited islands of Coornwal and Weelton.

If they were to face any resistance from the natives, the military and naval escorts would be ordered to shell the beaches from the sea and invade the islands to bring them under Windsorian control. ((MOD PLEASE))

The Windsorians also dispatch a further 30,000 troops to the northern coast of mainland Evropa, along with colonists, in order to establish trading cities along the coast and stake a claim for the Windsorians in Western Evropa. ((MOD PLEASE))

===========================

Finally, in diplomatic affairs, Windsoria reaches out to the Transmedian Republic to request a trading pact between their two nations.

Windsoria also sends delgations via zeppelin to the Republic of Andor and the Faalklind Islands to discuss trading pacts and possibly other political ties such as naval alliances and possible research exchanges.

Also, the Trading Hubs and Airplane Factory have been completed, and both are put to work at fulfilling their purposes.

Founding of Unity

Establishment of the Central Concordat

1957.jpg

Applause, camera flashes and cheering. That was the perfect description of the atmosphere in the Palace of Valenza after the signing of "The Treaty of Valenza", a sophisticated agreement that would secure the supremacy of the three participant states and consolidate their interests in the region.

As embassies from each country open in another, the national interests of each state within the Central Concordat is alligned. Although each state remains individual, military and diplomacy will be worked upon in a collective manner. The European Federation, as a result of the treaty, opens its borders for Concordat members.

The European Federation

La Fédération européenne

The news reached the Evropian people fairly quickly, the enemies of the old became the allies of the new. As the construction of military recruitment centers, trading hubs and the ATV vehicle continued as planned. With the naval branch of the European military established, patrols surrounding the Island are initiated. The newly acquired territories are build upon:

The cities of Galavant, Barlence and Bourbon with all 'B' sector railroads and highways are now officially registered as "Under Construction". Various monarchistic schools are renovated to Evropian ones as the Triple War is portrayed as a nation-wide blunder, not an act of heroism. A committee is set up to study the Gascogne Archives for anything about the European Civilization, as they wish to hold more true to their ways than just carrying their coat of arms.

A bill is proposed in the cabinet to add the Southeron language to the official languages of the state list, as Windsorian Anglais is already thaught in all national schools. The Premier proposes other Concordat countries to consider the same for French.

All technologies accepted, except for geothermal power. We'd like to hold off on that for the time being.

Waelicia

The cold, rocky beach is  quiet as the marines land, but it is only moments before they find signs of life in the form of fishing gear near the bluffs which obscure the upper island. The area is definitely inhabited.

hidden-cove-after-llangrannog.jpg

Within twenty minutes, one or two figures are spotted in the distance, but as far as the British can tell, they pose no threat. Nevertheless, they stay on alert.

By the end of the hour, about 150 marines have landed on the shore, essentially the most that can fit. Only then does a sentry finally shout that he's seen something. On top of the bluffs and hills are horsemen, several hundred strong. It's difficult to tell, but they seem to have what look like firearms on their hips.

As the British assume defensive positions, a vanguard rides down a narrow path to the beach, and as they draw closer the marines can see that the flag they carry shows a red dragon. They are certainly carrying firearms, but they seem slightly outdated, and resemble long pistols.

The vanguard comes to a halt on the sand, and dismounts, stepping toward the outsiders. Raising his arms in the fashion of an orator, their leader speaks loudly in a guttural, consonant-heavy language. But it soon becomes clear that the British cannot understand a word he says, and so he turns back to his men, and orders a short, well-groomed man to step forward. Nodding, the man looks from the leader to the marines, and speaks.

"Morning chaps. Welcome to Waelicia."

QUICK RESPONSE POST

a2landing-anzac.jpg

"Yes yes, good morning old sport." Sir Isaac Birmingham, the general in charge of the expedition, goes to shake the man's hand and then clear his throat as the powerful steamships float out at sea and the transports unload.

"I come with an edict from a powerful land from afar known as the United Kingdom of Windsoria. You may have heard of us, for hundreds of years ago we were not too distant from each other.

However, now I am afraid that King George the XXI your rightful King and Emperor, may the sun never set on his glory, has declared that you must come under our rule, under the jurisdiction of the Assembly of the United Kingdom and of course, it's King, so that our crowded island might become a little less crowded and so that you might be protected from the other nations beyond the sea.

Take this edict to your ruler. If he agrees to it, your people shall be given their own reserves of the island as a vassal of the United Kingdom, and you will be allowed to govern yourselves as you see fit. You will also be given access to extraordinary new medicines and technologies, and will be linked to the rest of the world, your age of isolation ended.

However, if you do not peaceably come under our rule as vassals, then I am afraid that we will be forced to wage a war with your people over the possession of our rightful territory. And trust me when I say that we /will/ win, with our great reserves of manpower and almost unimaginable technologies."

The general offers him the edict scroll, his two pith helmeted, red tuniced, iron chest plated guards standing menacingly at attention with their strange repeating weapons and the marines continue to unload. ((equivalent to Tommy guns))

The Noctem Republic

All that could be seen around The Republic was sand, no fertile land in few for miles. Surely this could be a could thing, it was a natural barrier of defense.. But it was also a weakness. The council had pushed forward a plan that would start the expansion of the Republic. Two groups would be sent out to further expand the Republic's borders. One group would consist of 5,000 troops as a protection force for the colonist as they would be travelling a long, long way from home towards an island that the scouts saw and looked promising. The other group would simply be an expansionary group helping to further extend the main lands borders.

Description (At least a DETAILED paragraph):

The rifle chamber the 7.92x33 round with the combination oft he weapon's selective-fire design, provided a compromise between the controllable firepower of a submachine gun at close quarters with the accuracy and power of a standard bolt action rifle at intermediate ranges. While the PN44 has less range and power than the more powerful bolt action of today but it allows for the firing of multiple accurate rounds at the selected target.

United Afrikaanus Empire

Word would reach Ezekias of the colonization of the town of Novum Ceuta. He would remain calm as the messenger delivered this news to him, and would look around at his council.

Well, this is rather unfortunate.

Ezekias would stand up now, calmly folding his arms behind his back.

It would seem the Christians have set up a town upon our noble land of Al’Kaziim. I will not stand idly as these settlers dare to intrude upon the land given to us by merciful Allah. Wallah, something shall be done.

Turning, he’d look to the messenger boy that brought the news.

Go to the council of the Noctem Republic, and ask to arrange a meeting. Something must be done about these colonists.

As the boy runs off, Ezekias would then face his general.

“Do whatever you must to ensure that our army is combat-ready as soon as possible.”

Invention Type (Military/Civilian/Etc): Military

Invention Name: F4 Dalitso

Inventor: Army Engineers of the UAE

Description (At least a DETAILED paragraph): Packing a punch, this heavy machine gun weighs a hefty 82 pounds, and is 65 inches long. This weapon would be used by infantry to face ground troops, but could also be used as an anti-aircraft weapon. These guns are expensive to make, and sacrifice accuracy for power. They are able to shoot 100 bullets at once, but the reload time is long.

The Duke sat once again at the head of his council. Dawn had just come and Baron Jaques seemed to have very important news that could not wait so here was the assembled council. Duke Logar gestured for the noble scientists to begin his presentation. The Baron got up on his feet and with a smile on his face placed blueprints on the table for some kind of machine. “This invention will revolutionise how we see the earth my fellow nobles. What me and my staff have created will allow us to dig through the depths of the underground and extend tunnels to wherever we feel the need to. This doesn't mean just the 4 mountains of the duchy but all land we wish to take as our own will be at our fingertips!” As soon as he finished all the council member applauded and even the Duke who usually didn't hand out praise told him of his good work.

Next was the time for Count Russ, he bows and begins “Sire your army is at the ready and as you requested they are composed primarily of nobles and as instructed 10.000 of your troops are being subjected to extensive training, when they are done they will be worthy knights of Fenris. In other news a foreign civilisation has come in contact with us, they are arrogant enough to call themselves the Empire of Eichi. They wish for friendship but at the same time they seem to be expanding along the southern coast, what should we do?”

Logar interlocked his finger and stared at the sky while he thought about his next move, finally he addressed the Count.” Write a response telling them that we are interested in opening diplomatic channels with them but wish to know their intentions in our continent. Besides this there is another civilisation that intrigues me, they call themselves the Evropean Commonwealth, I would like to get in contact with them you Count Russ shall go to them and arrange this. And I also wish to proclaim a ducal decree. Announce to the world and my vassals that the fertile lands southwest of our mountain are hereby claimed by the Duchy of Fenris, 20.000 of my soldiers will go to these lands to hold our claim, lead by one of my fine generals the noble Siguine.” The council quickly ran to do as instructed.

-------------------------------------

Actions:

-Sent letter to the Empire of Eichi telling them of our wish to open diplomatic channels with them and asking about their intentions with the continent.

- Sent a Dignatary, Count Luke Russ, to the Evropean Commonwealth, with the wish to bring the two civilisations closer

-Expanded the border southwest and sent 20k soldiers to hold it
