Andwise Peregrin paces about his burrow, slightly upset. He has been the mayor of the halflings for quite a while now and no person has shown any interest in taking the burden of mayor off of his shoulders. He walks to his desk and quickly dips a quill in ink and writing in large letters on a piece of parchment. He runs to the village notice board and post the paper that reads:

We, the proper halflings of Willow Hollow will be having an election this year. You will have until Malins Welcome ((Friday)) to cast your ballot. If anybody wishes to run for the position of mayor then they must meet a certain criteria. They must be at least 35 years old, proper for the last 10 years of their life, have shown that they care about the well being of other halflings, they must have exemplified an understanding of our culture, they must be a proper halfling. The runners application is below:
