- A letter is sent by messenger bird to the Silver Council of Haelun'or -

"Hello Council Elves of Haelun'or. It has been brought to my personal attention that you have skah'd up horribly. It seems you have Olog syndrome and decided it was in your best interests as 'Owls' to dishonor the Tla infront of his people; the people the Orcs have allowed to live upon their lands, our allies. It seems you even had the smarts to arrive at their current homeland; Orcish land to begin with, and start trouble by simply showing up without word, clad in your ornamental armor unfit for combat and demand to speak with the Tla. You should know what happens when you come upon our lands unannounced and showing any of us disrespect. I am merciful however, I gave you a chance to speak yet you were all tongue tied only able to accuse one side of this and that. I gave you fair warning to speak one at a time, you did not. I gave you fair warning to not draw a weapon at all during the discussion we had, yet you foolishly drew. I held back where you have not, my mercy was spat upon with your blatant disrespect.  Do not disappoint me again, come on Orcish lands or disrespect those that live on our lands again. I, Gorbad'Gorkil forgive you. This time.

*A bloody thumb print of Gorbad'Gorkil is smudged at the bottom of the letter*

Grand Prince Aelthir Tundrak sits across from the Silver Council as they read the letter, laughing. "The Uruks done-diddly' fucked up now."

Gorbad'Gorkil smirks, hoping the High Elves stoop so low as to side with the Snelves they fought against for so long, claiming they had a parasite. "Hurhur, wuld mayk hypakritez da norm uv Elven kynd."

Mordew reads the letter over, arching a brow at the supposed 'lenience', seeming to more believe the arrival of the Orcs upon the isle was met with instant combat and no chance for discussion, despite the original purpose of arrival being to verbally settle between the Kharajyr and Mali'aheral. He looks to his fellow councillors having finished. "The uruks spill pure Elven blood and we're forgiven? Quite the gesture indeed." he furrows a brow, passing the note on and continuing his discussion.

Ha'Jakum would snicker as he looks upon the face of a slain High Elf "thees ees ah siyn frum Metzli"

Thesseus snorts as he hears of the letter. "The Uzg is honestly surprised by a pair of soldiers defending their home city after it was harassed by a band of Kha? I myself was not present at the massacre at Kha lands, but I would think that the Rex would reprimand his vassals for attacking another nation with out provocation."

Iatrilemar gossips about in a conversational manner about the Citadel among fellow mali'aheral "Perhaps the Kharajyr should turn to more domestic matters rather than attempt to cause trouble with ones that have sheltered them in the past, twice. An odd way for them to act despite the fact that they likely seek shelter again. Perhaps they are insurgents into the Orcish lands and seek to claim it as their own instead of begging for assistance. Though perhaps the larger problem is that a few mali'aheral thought to act upon their own accord, rather than that of the Tilruir'tir or Tilruir'lliran. A shameful display either way."

"Perhaps when they will show their claws to the eventual Uruk insult. I am sure those who speak on their behalf would quite enjoy new fur rugs."

Aetahir nods along with Iatrilemars's comment, and remarks himself afterwards. "Honestly, I blame Sullas and Astore for saving their treacherous hides from the orcs in Asulon. Though this is not a lesson in trusting those felines, but of believing short-lived peoples will always remember their benefactors."

The Rex sits in solitude, still recovering from his illness. He thinks back to the time during the early days of his Rexdom where he gave the High Elves an ultimatum to abolish slavery or be destroyed. They acted smug until he himself arrived on their door step. Next thing he knew, slavery was gone.

"I told them not to trust the Kharajyr. I told them time and time again." Kelthran mutters, reading over the note before folding it and placing the copy gingerly into his 'political statements' drawer. "The wheels of fate twist and turn, with every Elf crying out in surprise as I murmur the phrase 'I told you so'. One would think they'd have caught on by now."

"The wheels of fate twist and turn, with every Elf crying out in surprise as I murmer the simple phrase - 'I told you so'. One would think they'd have caught on by now."

"I know, right?" Muttered another, tanner elf, in another nation, fighting for another culture...but who was just as cynical.

"Orcs allying with their clothes... This is madness." Silvos mutters to himself as he finds the letter in the councilroom.

Thesseus remembers the time when the Rex acted smug about his minor victories over the snow elves and was cut down regardless without the aid of Orenia. Next thing he knew, he wasn't reading as much propaganda about the martial prowess of the Green Tide.
