Essa was raised by her parents until she was 13 years old. Most of her family went missing after the capture of Tar'sil and she spent close to three years in hiding while she tried to find her way back to her father while they communicated through her messenger owl “Minnow”. The Princeton of Fenn was being reconstructed and Essa spent a lot of time watching the soldiers of Ivae'fenn train. It is through these observations that she realized she wanted to be skilled in archery. When she was 17, her Dad left with a few of his best Ivae'fenn soldiers to embark on a spiritual journey. They never returned. She spent several years cooped up in the empty castle sending her owl, Minnow, off to deliver messages to Aelthir which seemed to never make it to him. Eventually her owl disappeared as well. War and the absence of Aelthir took a great toll on the Princedom. Essarae assumed the role of the Grand Princess of the Princedom of Fenn when her Father, Aelhir Tundrak, was killed in battle while on his journey. Still an adolescent at the time, her efforts to regain stability in the Princedom were fruitless. She was overthrown by the 'White Tide' on the 8th of Snow Maidens, 1547. (to be cont..)
