I have been a part of the GM team as of over a year and a half now. So long, in fact, that I have become the longest running GM currently. All things must come to an end, however. I can practically hear the cheers of joy coming from some of you already, but that's how life goes sometimes. I’m not here to make excuses or try and shout down anyone who’s ever had a problem with me. Far from it, in fact. I did my job as a GM with the interest of the players first. Some of my decisions made me unpopular in the eyes of some. In the end, I hold nothing against anyone. I’ve been called many things while GM, but here’s hoping that the number one thing I’ll be called again is friend (******* biased piece of **** was getting boring).

 

I’ve got a few messages for some people in particular first:

 

GM’s and players

More communication would be wonderful of course. However, as someone who was on the GM team for such a long time I hope you all will believe me when I say this is the best team since I joined. They may have interesting ideas, and even make some mistakes along the way, but they do truly care about the players. Give them a bit of a break sometimes, the whole communication thing does go two ways and being calmer and more understanding helps far more than you think.

 

 

ET’s and Freema

I know many of you, freema included, may have taken issue with me in the past. However, I wish you nothing but luck. Maybe it’ll be nice to see an event from the eyes of a player again.

Learn to chill a bit more. You guys can get so worked up over nothing at all. However, that being said, I’ve never met another group on this server so loyal. You guys are the true friends to one another whenever the time comes, just remember that this is a game. If someone does something you don’t like in the game, don’t take it as a personal insult.

I tried RP with you guys for a while actually, thanks to Nalatac. Not too bad, actually. Lotta guys are pretty chill. As with everyone else, though, a little less OOC motivation can always do you good.

To be honest, I have no idea if I would have stayed on the server this long hadn’t you RP’d with me to begin with. In a time where I could barely find anything to do on the server as a new player, you jumped at the chance and went out of your way to make sure I felt welcomed. If more players took after the way you acted then, we’d have thousands of people on at once. I’ve never laughed harder then when I made you shriek during Trouble In Terrorist Town and I killed you with a flying pizza. You can be stubborn and aggressive at times, but you couldn’t ask for a better friend.
