"This is very one sided..."

mutters Garsto.

"This says how great his rule is, but doesn't mention Lord d'amaury's murder!"

Catherine reads the paper, and a small sigh leaves her. "No mention of my poor sister Eleanor," the girl murmurs. But despite it all, she still finds herself hoping that somehow, things will come to an end with as little bloodshed as possible. Catherine lifts her head, peering out her window at the city of Felsen. "Easier said than done, I suppose..."

Reading over the pamphlet in his bed in Candilan, a one - eyed Qali mumbles to himself.

"I don't feel it. Not enough mud slingin'. If the writer wanted to contribute something worth the effort to read about a group of folks he or she doesn't like, should have included a couple jabs at their mothers or question their sexuality.

Otherwise you're just boring."

Nafis allows the pamphlet to fall down his bedside before he lays back down, returning to his new lazy lifestyle incognito.

A Krinford looks over the paper. "Who even are you? Why must such an irrelevant being talk like he knows everything about the situation?"

Charles de Wett's gaze scans over the publication's words with hardly a sound. His brow furrows before promptly crumpling it in hand, tossing the wasted paper into a loudly crackling fire. "What ******* **** is this?" He muses aloud. "For what purpose has this nameless writer lashed out at Savoyards, before masking his ill intent by taking shelter behind His Imperial Majesty's name? He is doing no one any favors by writing and publishing this ****, none at all. Especially not now."

The pallor lord returns to silence, shaking his head slowly.

"Deplorable."

"Should the writer announce his name, I shall entertain any thought of this being a real publication."

Denis de Bar offers a scoff as the flier is delivered to him, delivering the cutting retort to the cluster of Brothers nearby. His hands close around the paper after, balling it up before consigning its contents to the roaring hearth.

Rodoljub sings another ballad.

Spoiler

John, may water take you

To Savoie you should bid adieu

Do you remember the Jackals under Saltpan?

Your prime soldier is nothing but a straw man!

Do the Savoyards hurt you?

Now the truth is in full view!

I don’t like you, John

You wish to rule as one

You destroyed our great king’s dream!

I pray the goodly LORD

Takes your tyranny abroad

Away from Savoie!

I don’t like you, John

You wish to rule as one

You destroyed our great king’s dream!

I pray the goodly LORD

Takes your tyranny abroad

Away from Savoie!

Oh John, this is to be unpleasant

You aren’t even helped by the peasants

Your pitiful guard rout every second

Your Empire is falling, so it’s reckoned!

The Savoyards are steadfast and strong

You can only undo your wrong

I don’t like you, John

You wish to rule as one

You destroyed our great king’s dream!

I pray the goodly LORD

Takes your tyranny abroad

Away from Savoie!

I don’t like you, John

You wish to rule as one

You destroyed our great king’s dream!

I pray the goodly LORD

Takes your tyranny abroad

Away from Savoie!

Do you wonder, how your men take to their heels?

How your serfs desert you, upon wagon wheels?

Oh John, a message from your LOYAL vassals!

“You won’t take our sacred castles!”

You've given land to fools!

Now you'll pay in blood - in pools!

I don’t like you, John

You wish to rule as one

You destroyed our great king’s dream!

I pray the goodly LORD

Takes your tyranny abroad

Away from Savoie!

I don’t like you, John

You wish to rule as one

You destroyed our great king’s dream!

I pray the goodly LORD

Takes your tyranny abroad

Away from Savoie!
