An Open Letter To The Emperor

Strewn across the lands of Vailor would be copies of a letter addressed to the Emperor of Oren

"I write this in hopes that one may have the pleasure of being viewed by his Imperial Majesty John Sigismund.

I, Coltaine Wick, was horrified to bear witness to the foul assault on your court by those ruffian Camel Bandits, aka Dreadlanders.

I was presumably ignored for my age and was thus able to see the fiend who orchestrated the whole ordeal and live to tell.

It twas that snake in the grass Thomas Ruric, I saw him bellowing orders and then be carried off to safety so as to not be struck down by good righteous men of Oren.

This affront cannot go unpunished! The Dreadland children must be finally put in line, and these rebellious Rurics crushed before they

can turn into an actual problem!

I propose you call your banners immediately and march on Seahelm, land of Ruric swine.

I also propose you end this quickly and brutally with the introduction of siege mages into your armed forced, paired

with a device known as an amplificare they serve as catapults, only more deadly, these are just things to consider.

I offer you my council and sound advice much as I do to your brother."

Your leal servant

Lord Magister of Vandoria

Coltaine Wick

Edward chuckles reading the letter at a table in Redmark, "Not a surprise coming from the Ruric boy. Bold and brazen he is with nearly no sense of loyalty. Probably wanted to make himself a king like the last man of Avar did with his brothers in red uniforms."
