"There is sand to the West, brothers. "

As usual, a searing and unforgivable heat pervaded every corner of the Uzg, offering little respite for the stalwart denizens of the land. Waves of heat danced upon the sands as the Orcs went about their daily business of trading and hunting.

In the distance, a small, Orcish boat made its way to the shores of the Uzg. As the boat wedged into the wet sand, an Elder Uruk stepped from it, trudging through the waters. The Elder would later be seen walking along the path to San'Thraka in a languid pace, hunched and leaning on the walking stick he was hardly seen without. Slowly but surely, he rose to the tallest pillar of the city, entering the chambers of the Rex, Kharak'Raguk.

The Elder was covered in wrinkles and scars, an obvious aura of wisdom and intelligence about him. He crashed his staff onto the ground before the Rex could speak. Calling out to him with a deep and rumbling tone, he offered no formalities of conversation.

"Kharak, the Desert to the West. It should be ours." He stated, edging closer to the Rex, who was slouched idly in his throne. Kharak perked a brow in response, heaving himself forward and resting his elbows upon his knees as he inspected the Elder.

"Why now?" He asked, rubbing his palms together in contemplation. The Elder smirked, pointing his staff behind him, overlooking the horizon of the Uzg.

"This land, it is ours because it is the will of Krug, and sand remains un-corruptable against your plague, brother. I know you know this."

"Of course." He said, nodding with intrigue as he awaited further information.

"Then we must claim all of it, or our enemies will use it as a line of defense in the years to come." He said, more vigor in his tone than usual as he smashed his cane once more onto the floor.

The Rex rose to his feet, nodding to the Elder Uruk as he smirked. He made his way to the highest point of the Rex palace, calling out with the Waaagh Horn. Orcs from all across the land perked their heads in interest as the sound reverberated across the sands. They slowly answered the call, making their way to the Goi. Before the city, a small party was amassed, and Kharak broke out before them. He greeted those that had arrived, and instructed them to gather supplies. Once the band of Orcs had prepared their things on their mounts, they set off in search of their target.

The journey was long and arduous, and filled with many spoils as they swept through the neighbouring settlements. Eventually, they arrived at the abandoned jungle island that the Kha had once occupied. They set up camp for the night, taking great interest in the terrain that surrounded them. Many of the Shamans that had traveled with the Orcs took advantage of this terrain, acquiring a multitude of ingredients for Hexes and Cures.

At daybreak, the Orcs set out to the Caliphate. They arrived on familiar terrain, digging their feet into the sands as they overlooked the horizon. Standing far in the distance were unusually grand trees, those that could only be brought forth by the Druids. The Rex decided that it would be fitting to take a visit, informing the Druids of their new presence in this land.

The Druids, in their unwavering insolence, insulted the Rex and those beside him, muttering among themselves as Kharak stood there awaiting response. After the Druids showed signs of hostility, the Rex motioned with his hand, and in an instant the party of Orcs surged around them, breaking the Druids down. Without the Orcs taking notice, one of the Druids had managed to escape in cowardice, retreating to the depths of her room.

When the final known Druid was brought to his knees, the Orcs left, having spread their message to those that had, in the past, attempted to thwart the plague they had set around the Uzg. The Orcs looted those they had knocked unconscious, leaving them to spread the word to those that were not present. Along their way, they took some slaves back with them, to the War Uzg, where they would be sacrificed to the Spirit of Warfare in preparation.

As the ritual took place, the Druid that had escaped the Orcs earlier found her way onto the mountain of Enrohk. It appeared she had followed their tracks all the way back to the Uzg, and was notching a bow in preparation for a sneak attack. She aimed at the Rex as he chanted, and let an arrow fly through the wind. It whistled for a moment, before crashing into the horn on Kharak's head. As it shattered into pieces, it fell to the floor before him.

The Rex stood in disbelief for a moment, before swaying to the side and regaining his balance. With haste, the surrounding Orcs lept off in the direction the arrow had come from, chasing off the red-haired Elf.

Kharak knelt down, cupping a mound of sand and shattered bone in his hand. He gritted his teeth in anger, standing to overlook the setting sun.

Vorgo would be seated upon the floor where he and Elphaba would undergo meditative practice, a small smirk would come across his face as he continues his practices.

The elder nods contently after he finally finds rest after the long day of many events. "Ahl iz guin' tuh plahn nauw." He murmurs to himself as he takes a deep sip of his pipe and closes his eyes.

Ashruf Kaneen would stand atop the walls of Al-Hibat Allah, staring out into the vast open deserts of the Sultanate of Sharaf. He casually leans his head back towards a man standing behind him, the man's face concealed away behind a turban. He'd relay the news of the Uruks little invasion into their lands and what it is they've done to the druids. Ashruf would scoff, turning his head back towards the deserts, his face covered in disgust with a hint of amusement "I am sure they are here to corrupt our lands such as how they have done to their own. Let them try." The sultan would then turn on his heel, heading into the keep and into a study to write a letter.

The letter would be wrapped properly around a raven as it then would fly east, towards the Uzg and into the hands of whomever it may concern.

"Salaam alaikum,

This letter is intended for the hands of the Rex to speak on matters of your little army that seems to have found itself within my lands. I am Ashruf Kaneen, Sultan of the sultanate of Sharaff, which is the lands that use to be known as just the 'caliphate'. I well enough know your intentions, for it is quite obvious why you are here. I ask you to stop before you end up regretting your choices afterwards. You are trespassing upon my lands, which is troublesome and complicates the current affairs that I am in. It is bad enough I have to deal with the nonsense of Vandoria, but dealing with this is far more of an annoyance. I do not seek to ruin whatever relations we may have, or if we have any for that matter, I simply ask you to end whatever it is you are doing before I am forced to take action, and that does not necessarily mean our armies fighting against yours. I will not risk the lives of thousands to repel your horde, if that is even possible, but I will risk a few to bring down the very structure of your society. Know it does not take an army to repel another, or to bring an end to a dynasty.

This letter is neither a threat or a plea, it is but a simple request. I care not of what you do afterwards when you leave my lands. I care not of who it is you worship, what it is you had for breakfast, or whoever is next upon your path. I do not care for many things in all honesty, this realm is truly a plague and I seek to cleanse it with my own personal means. I simply ask you to be wise and forget about whatever it is you planned for my lands, otherwise if not then I suggest you sleep with one eye open for the rest of your life. You never know who is truly your friend anymore.

Signed,

Sultan of Sharaf, Ashruf Kaneen"

Mok'han would be the first to see the letter, and he orders his goblin servant to pen a response.

We do not see how you have a problem with our taint when your city has streets specifically designed for your residents to **** in. Our guards will be able to smell your spies and assassins diarrhoea-soaked trousers a mile off.

Signed

The Rex would receive the letter, reading it over carefully as he huffed in amusement. He proceeded to toss it into a nearby fire, disregarding the warning.

Yotul gave a cackle of unabashed glee, clawing her way up a dune to look out in the direction of the land that would soon belong to the Uzg.

Khargol looks up before letting out a huff, going back to repeatedly punching a Farfolk to death, laughing as he does so. "Zuh zupizt pinkhez thinzk dahz zhey kan ztopz uhz." he'd say to those Orcs that may pass him on the road to the city. "Hurhurhur zuppiz zupid pinkhez. . ."
