"WE FEAR THE OLD DARK."

- Adage of the Old Lords

The effects of these atrocities carried out by Haelun’or ripple across entire nations, leaving people rife with fear and anger. People time and time again abused by the mali’aheral for “impure” physical or mental traits and even children slain for appearances or the circumstance of their birth in the first place. Haelun’or, you have once again overstepped your boundaries and angered even your own elven kin -- on the behalf of the Covenant I applaud you. Now you will suffer as the children suffered at your hands, as the many men and women suffered in your acid as they burned away, forgotten.

Your cleric allies will all die for their ignorance should they not step aside and abandon you, and your pale heads will roll. I will personally ensure your crimes never again victimize a single elf or human again. Your turbulent deeds have shattered the peaceful foundation enjoyed by Domain of Malin and Empire’s denizens and the chaos that ensued cannot be ignored any longer. Be prepared, for the tide will change and your leaders will be brought to justice.

To the Clerics and Ascended; if you pack your belongings and depart from the city you shall not be warred against. You will have political immunity should you not touch any affiliated with the New Order and you may thus be free to pursue your patrons’ peaceful goals on the mortal plane. If you refuse, I shall again exact vengeance upon you in the name of the Creator -- think on this, is it justice to condone the slaughter of impures and unborn children? Is it your god’s goal to be so malignant and twisted?

To the Silver State and its military; you will pay for your sins. I myself shall ride and slay all who stand by the chikr, and should the criminals who murder children save face and turn themselves in the name of the law and be presented to the State of Laureh’lin or the New Order to face punishment we needn’t enter your city at all, nor will our allies.

Do not mutilate your sovereignty any further.

Signed,

Dralazar, Herald of Ashes, Scion of the Forlorn Lord, Archon of Umbrage, Lord of Torment.

Azdromoth, Herald of Umbrage, Wroth of Maliakiith, Echelon of the Forlorn Lord, Lord of Order, The Black Titan, Harbinger of the Abyss.

Arche, still knowing absolutely nothing about this whole ordeal, would read this note— before the other one. Wondering why the Dominion had to task its Necromancers on attacking Haelun'or.

"On one hand, I want to kick the Covenant's ass. On the other hand, I want to see the Aheral get their asses kicked. These are truly trying times where harsh decisions must be made."

"I'm with you there." Artimec commented to Heial. "I cannot support any group of dark mages, but by the Aspects- I surely am not risking my own people defending Haelun'or, not after what they've done. Let these groups fight."

Nemir sat alone in her tower, sipping from a bottle of wine as she looked out a thin window. "... Good." she'd mutter softly to herself, seeming lost in thought.

"...I am getting some Dark Congress vibes from the threat to leave the base," Elvira mutters from within her base, frowning. "Sadly, It is not my place to interfere with this High elven order, therefore I hold no part with the High elven clerics. Although I am ashamed that this incident regarding the child occured, I just pray that they do not see the death of an unborn because of their race as an act of purity. If they do, Tahariae be ashamed on their souls for eternity. That is not purity, that is impurity at its utmost finest. I hope they are ready for what may happen if they do not leave..."

The cleric sighs and shakes her head, pulling out some parchment.

"Regardless, it seems I will have to pay them a visit. I do not fancy a repeat of the Dark Congress "

Hengest responds with a single sentence written simply on white parchment, sent via a pidgeon.

"We reside; we do not abide. Furthermore, it seems the state has publicly denounced those responsible for the atrocity. - Hengest of the Ethallimiran"

The Savoyard Battlemage blinks as he reads the notice, "Huh. This is bad... I think. I-" He pauses, thinking the issue out, appearing to have great difficulty figuring who to side with let alone who to root for. Finally, after coming up with a decision, He utters: "Well... eh... their problem, I suppose."

Andri scratches her neck. The Mali'aheral seemed rather disturned, a glass of wine toyed with in her hand.

"I heard it was only one mali'aheral with a baby." She huffs, shifting in her chair. "An impure one at that. They probably bury people who break their laws under trees, or something. What's the big deal?"

Her figure further shrinks within the comfort seating of the sofa, a disgruntled sigh passing her lips.

"Now we're messed up with these 'Fear the old dark' folks. I should start fearing the dark again, sleep with my lights on."
