Greetings lovers of Lord of Salt and Stuff (tm)

 

The time has come, and a tad late, for my introduction on this forum we all love to hate.

And seeing the 500 post mark is a good time stamp for doing so I'll toss in an AMA as well because why the hell not!

 

 

Who is Hedgehug?

 

My name is Daan (and for you English speaking, Dan will do...). I am currently 20 years of age and a proud Dutchman. I have been playing lord of the craft for a good 2 years now and see myself as a solid part of its community. (Still debating if its good or bad). 

 

 

What does Hedgehug like?

 

As one could guess, I like videogames. I also like streaming a good show, movie etc.

 

I very much like, if not love:

 

Real Time Strategy games, such as: Lord of the Rings - Battle for middle earth, Age of Empires II and C&C Red Alert (mostly older games, but I love them till this day)

 

First Person Shooter games, such as: Planetside 2 (BR 82, Terran Republic), all CoD's up untill MW3 (I was 14 at the time, mercy), Battlefield 4 and Counter strike Go

 

Movies: Lord of the Rings & Hobbit (ALL OF EM, though LotR has the special place in my heart), Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney (Yet, ones that were made for a more mature audience, think of Road to El Dorado, Prince of Egypt, Atlantis etc.) After the Dark (Recommend it!) , Countless others

 

Series: Game of Thrones (Du-Dunariz!), The 100, Revolution, Arrow, Nikita, Terra Nova

 

Anime: Full Metal Alchemist(Brotherhood), Avatar (as far as its considered Anime, I just like it allright!), pretty much everything Studio Ghibli puts out, Sword Art Online (until it got weird), Attack on Titan, Gate

 

Aside of this I very much like banter, debating, a good beer (Belgium ones), Roleplay, creating Gif's (to compensate for my lack of talent on the drawing board) and doing some memes. 

 

 

 

Hedgehugs Lord of the Craft story so far:

 

I joined LotC in early September, 2015 (mid Vailor) under the name and face of Sam Norwick, an ambitious blacksmith who soon worked his way up the ranks in the town of Darkwood, to then leave to Istria where he later on received his knighthood, married his wife and raised his children.

 

When I was getting tired of Sam and human roleplay as a whole (400-ish played hours on a single char) I decided to step it up a bit and make my way into the fantasy bit of Lord of the Craft. I then made Dlün, a forest dwarf destined to become a Druid. It took a while and this char is now a druid, though benched.

 

some side characters are: 2 golems (one of which is dead), a cervitaur and another human.

 

I played a woodelf for quite some time, Narmir. This was the first time I also entered the grinding game and after a good 2 months I slowly worked my way up to Aengelic woodworker. He too found love and got a child as well. Though 'tis a shame I am not really active on this character as of late.

 

Because.... well...

 

Shagarath happened. I created the char as one prone to spirit worship. In the beginning I helped out the orcs quite a lot, and worked my way into the community. I am now the Dominus, and a Shaman. This is my main character.

 

Aside from my characters I am also an Application Moderator and happy to be so to contribute to the community as well as donating to Diamond Vip. I make memes and cinematics  as well. ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYaLMeY1QcmQNN5-LnTsNtg )
