No ofc it wasnt' about Defending. Im salty because everyone calls out for PVP, it was really un-friendly OOCly atleast because we went for real RP reasons.

I agree for the last part, it was all good, tasty rp from the orc's side. Yet some Oreners we're just giving bullshit rp. And I'm talking from the point of view of a guy who got captured and almost sacrificed. Orcs are not bad, they are no joke, and they what actually makes lotc fun, something to be scared of!

If you give me an Orc skin and five of your worst warriors (PvP of course) I will show you the ways of successfully banditing the roads and leaving with both your  head and an inventory full of precious loot.

 

@Jentos Only thing scary whenever I see an Orc is not having enough inventory space.

Despite all the mud slinging going on around here, good post! I hope to see orcs get more of a presence! Maybe all they need is a good dose of strong leadership. In the future I'll consider playing one, since they're the only race I have yet to try

I don't really see a way to balance it well. I'd love discussion on this point more because orcs are currently being torn in two directions. If we become a PVP-centric group, then when we're not at war  and allied, we die out. Elves and those not willing to be ripped apart by the Orcish Warmachine also get salty and bans start flying left and right.  If we stay shaman focused, those who aren't shamans basically sit around waiting for their RP to log in, and without their shamans, orcs don't do to well. Currently, we're looking for a way to have shaman RP without the shamans, and PVP + Pixels without the OOC Salt. If anyone wants to discuss this more options or opportunities, add more to the discussion or PM/Message me.

Now, drum roll please, for the annual Correction!

We asked for 1 guard, not the captain, for 1 bloody guard. We could've taken a Private, And that's where the Problem comes in, instead of giving one lowcase guard and ensuring the safety of your people, You instead risked orcs killing your civilians, or guards and just started PVPing, Mind you we were trying to get away OOCly when we saw no Actual RP was gonna happen.
