There's a connection here, I just know it.

But anyway, thanks for all you've done for the server! Ya done good.

One wonders what causes such an exodus of all these staff members.

Sure, school's coming up - but many of these people quitting have been staff for previous school years.

I think it's a confluence of things. Dan worked diligently for the greater part of a year, and pushed out a huge project with the help of basically two others. Ryan was left to handle everything else himself among the Admins. And we had a number of GMs who stayed on the team despite clearly being primed for departure that then went due to the increased demands of 5.0, some folks who left due to a disagreement in the server direction, and some who merely had real life issues that demanded more of their time.

I would say it's more so a lot of weird timing paired with the release of a map that dramatically increased activity and the demands on staff than something to be particularly concerned about. It's largely a short term issue, at least as I have seen it.

Ski states the situation well. It's not due to something bad happening. Just people, including me, have lives outside of Lotc. Being an Admin is like a full time job where you are always connected to Lotc.

Yet another admin leaves, without giving me a fair opportunity to shove it into the depths of my almighty pocket. Glad you're still on the server, though!

Can't say I saw this coming but I will say thanks. Coming back, this staff team was the most well-ran and well put-together of the three I've seen and been involved in. Major props for that.

Can't say I agreed with a lot of the choices made but it's always sad seeing such a collapse like what's been happening recently.

You were fantastic as an admin, and for as much as we could call it. A friend. It was nice to have some company during my more stressful times, and I hope you find that I appreciate everything you've done for me, and LotC as at least something in your flamey red heart.
