Her dark spheres scan the area; watching as the many high elves went about their day. She wasn’t here to join in idle gossip or to sit with her peers within the inn, no she had a purpose to be here today. The sorceress steps up onto the edge of the fountain as she clasps her hands in front her, producing a single loud clap. “May I have your attention, fellow mali’aheral,” she calls out, her voice risen to catch the attention of the other high elves. She waits until they have gathered to go on. “I come here today to announce that here, on the 15th of the Amber Cold, I, Lanavia Iyathir, challenge Ikur Seregon for his seat on the council as tilruir'nor.” The elfess pauses before she goes on. “Have any of you gone hungry? Has there been a need for the city for anything supplies that has not been met? No. It has been because of my efforts we find ourselves with plentiful food and supplies. Ikur has not tended to his duties in ages. He is nowhere to be found. I will not stand idly by as this man remains comfortably sat within the council while I work laboriously to tend to his responsibilities.” “And so I challenge his title,” Lanavia states flatly as she slips her arms behind her back.
