Simply Stupid

I've tried to stop with my compulsion and obssession for memes so I can actually roleplay and improve my image, but this doesn't happens expect for very select few players.

Now that I've ceased doing roleplay memes, I can see it with transparency how stupid everything is, and I feel bad for what I've did to people in the past now, specially the image i've imprinted on the orcs. This is simply stupid.

Everything I do, someone thinks its a meme

Everything I see is an actual terribly bad meme

People punching eachother;

People running and jumping around and not interacting at all;

Retarded responses;

Item greed;

The lack of serious roleplay except for a few events (The little I've seen on events that was actual roleplay was only on very important events, besides that, everything was so stupid and so dumb, just as people waited for loot;

Punching and shift-right clicking;

Representing a **** by shifting behind said player;

Screaming people talking over eachother on TS. The list goes on.

Its terrible, sorry, and I confess that I regret all the grief I've caused with these actions in the past.

Places like the high elves, wood elves (if I'm allowed to self promote) and Sutica put a pretty heavy emphasis on staying in character. Oren too from what I hear, although johannesburg is just so big and has so many people in it there's bound to usually be people ******* around.

Try making a new character to disassociate yourself with the image you've made for yourself? (I don't think it's that bad an image, honestly). If that fails, just RP seriously with people. Even if they're ******* aroudn with you, just emote properly at them. usually they get the idea and just settle down and RP back.

edit: people try to bind me to my server rep as well. I just ignore it and keep it in RP until they do so as well

+1 for being honest.  I don't believe I was around when you did memey stuff, but the roleplay I've done with you over the last week on random occasions has been high quality.  This guy definitely deserves a second change, so long as he keeps it up.  You also have a good point when you talk about the bad quality RP that some people do, I see it around a lot.

I mean, there's a heavy pressure absolutely everywhere, and I just got a love tap on wood elves (aka random punch according to the agressor)

I couldn't handle Sutica due to certain reasons and indirect harrassment from a certain player on specific topics due to a specific event.

High elf roleplay style doesn't fits me.

I mean, its not that Im ignorant, I've been trying all kinds of roleplay lately to see if I can like something. I've been enjoying playing as a human a lot, but some players make it unplayable sometimes. I don't know, maybe im just tired because its 00:15AM, but if you can prove me that the wood elves have actual, decent roleplay instead of pvp and grinding, sure. Yes, this is the pre-concept and image I have from wood elves right now.

Lol that's literally just Leric who grinds for the rest of us and happens to be the most famous welf. We mostly RP. We've become more open lately and allow most people to hang out in the city ICly, except orcs and dlanders (sorry Eath'lur)

Honestly I liked fishing with you that one time even if we didn't really roleplay.
I almost tend to get too serious lately, so, I dunno.. If you feel like a chat sometime, I try to treat people like people and I'm always willing to roleplay.

yo sandking you okay buddy? was your account hacked?

Jokes aside—I agree with your points. I think Leo has got it down to the science there, people will reciprocate your tone. If you roleplay seriously the people around you will adapt in some way or another.

If it doesn't bother you I'd enjoy a chat when you're available on Discord (Telanir#7632), and maybe we can get to the bottom of this and figure out how to promote premium top1 rp-server quality lotc-rp.

I'm proud of you. Even if I've only spoken to you like twice. I remember a few months ago you said that you wanted to change, and here you are complaining that people don't roleplay seriously enough. My memeking bias is slowly fading away. But as an elitist 100% IC jerk, part of me does stop and wonder if you haven't kicked the memes, but have instead evolved to a level of meme that I simply cannot comprehend, and you're playing us all for fools.

Either way to address the actual body of your post...

I'll just reiterate what two people already said: Play your own way, and slowly people will reciprocate that. Either because you're accumulating people who are on your wavelength (read: sowing seeds of a niche, a grave sin) or because people really are just adjusting to you, I 'dunno which. Either way, it's worked for me. I don't regularly find trolly meme guys.

I do seem to attract people who are still learning RP and stuff, though. Hmmm...
