Dwarven Government Positions Open for Nomination

Under order of the Grand King Torvin Grandaxe the following positions in the lower government are now opened for nomination,

High Remembrancer - The High Remembrancer is in charge of keeping the library and adding books to it as well as acquiring all sorts of knowledge for the Dwarven populace. The High Remembrancer is to be well learned in the fields of History, Legends and Lore, The Brathmordakin, and the Dwarven language. The next high remembrancer will also be tasked in organizing the construction of a new library and will be the pupil of a former Remembrancer if necessary.

 

 

Grand Admiral - The Master Engineer is needed to organize the Grand Armada and make sure it is well kept and upgraded to meet the newest technology. The Grand Admiral is expected to be knowledgable in naval tactics and steam power, and can be tutored if necessary. The next Grand Admiral will be tasked with constructing the new Grand Armada. This position is to work with the Grand Marshall during Legion practices which may often include naval training, the Grand Admiral may also host independent naval training. sailors in the Grand Armada are compromised of Legionnaires as well.

 

 

Culture Minister / Tavernkeep - The Culture Minister is needed to organize and set up festivals, feasts, holidays and also make sure the Kingdom-sponsored tavern is functional and improving. The next Culture Minister will be tasked with bringing the tavern back up to shape. This position is expected to run the tavern and maintain its functionality.

 

 

Master Engineer - The Master Engineer is tasked with advancement in dwarven technology and is to construct and maintain fortresses to protect the Grand Kingdom's borders and heartland. The next Master Engineer is tasked with constructing fortresses to secure the surrounding lands of Kal'Nikaer and the Grand Kingdom's outer borders. This position may be the head of the Engineer's Guild if desired by the Master Engineer.

I have served is several taverns in valor as a server. My plans are to bring the tavern back up to its former glory, and to keep its stock full and always ready for patrons. I will host pig races and jousts, competitions of strength and wit, and well drinking contests.

I plan to create the new library for hosting the knowledge of our glorious people and actively recording the deeds of our Kingdom. The act of creating scholarly work, written by Dwed, is an almost forgotten act and I plan to revitalize this past time.

Knowing very basic tactics, I would be interested in learning more about steam power, dwed cannon, and strategic maneuvers. As our Armada barely exists, I would like to hire woodworkers and ship builders to construct a fine, dwed fleet better than any other nation can boast. As a StoneGuard in the Legion, I have shown some of my loyalty to Urguan and our Grand King, but I would show my support as well by constructing these fine vessels with donations and supplies gathered by dwed and other people within the Grand Kingdom. I would prefer to use as little mina as possible, which is needed for funding other projects the Kingdom may have. We will hire Lumberjacks to gather the wood, miners to gather minerals that are needed, woodworkers to craft the boats, and I'm sure that whoever is appointed Master Engineer would be very helpful in designing the boats.

After precise observations of the current tiles Urguan posses, I have located many strategical positions where the Kingdom can construct fortresses; corresponding to the defense of the Kingdom.
