Ladies and gentlemen, a grave injustice has happened today. My good friend (whom I was roleplaying with on this roleplay server) was banned, and I don't appreciate it. I was banned once, and it wasn't fun. This is a big league crime to the community. Why he was banned? Because of his quote unquote "vulgar name". The name in question? AssToMovth. See this name, it gives you a good chuckle. It makes you laugh, see my good friend was just trying to spread joy.

 

1. Firstly, How many rap lyrics that are posted on this forum in various signatures, spew out racial slurs as well as eating ass? Too many. If AssToMovth is gunned down now because of a 'lewd' and 'horrific' name, it's just plain dumb.

 

2. Secondly, it's been nearly three weeks since he changed his name. Why suddenly now, does the staff take action? He's walked past like four GMs, and hasn't gotten any complaint from anyone. Zero people complained. He wasn't harming anyone. "But there's kids on this server!" Who cares. They already get exposed to corpse mutilation, horrific murder, lots of vulgar language, misogyny, religious discrimination, why not AssToMovth?

 

3. Thirdly, I've seen plenty of innuendo names. Plenty people. I've seen Big and Sexy, Tentacles, I've seen names with ass. I don't discredit any of these people, they make me laugh. 

 

4. Fourthly, Why do GMs have to make sure every intricate detail is child friendly? Who. Cares. Go do actual work instead of pestering people because of words. Stop acting like everyone is in a sheltered home with prude parents. Please.

 

5. Fifth, As stated before: I was rping with him. And suddenly he started getting talked to. This action impeded my roleplay experience, I was just about to reconnect with my good friend.

 

6. After asking four different GMs about this council of removing the alleged player, they all denied that such existed. This is a horrible abuse of sheltered power.

 

Absolutely ridiculous that the staff would ban a contributing player of the server over something simple as a name, especially considering the Halloween events he'll miss. Thats why Zhulik has our vote.

 

He got gakked, people. And It's not okay.

What disgusts me is that he was banned before and then unbanned because senior GMs realized they shouldn't ban him. Why should a trial ban him now?

Can the server stop pretending they're kid-friendly and that AssToMovth is unacceptable when I could log on right now if I wanted, call someone an ass or even worse in legitmate rp and then proceed to slice their limbs off and emote the blood?

I'd like to say that, for a good month if I remember correctly, my username was Boot_Sloot, and I didn't receive any trouble. And this was back on Athera, when it seemed like they were cracking down on that stuff a lot more than they are today.
