As Frida and Tristan approach a lake that brings back many old memories to the two, Frida stops at their usual spot.

 

"Tristan, do you remember why we come here?" Frida would say holding back tears

 

"Frida, I've lost too much blood..I'm sorry, but no" Tritan replies 

 

"It's fine, love. We came here when you asked me to court with you" she'd smile at the thought

 

"...and when you asked me to marry you" her smile would be faint but grow bigger

 

"... and when I told you we were to be parents" her smile would dull slightly

 

"....and we could join our child...here..." her face drops to a neutral expression.

 

"I think I know what you're saying....Frida.." he'd say his face goes blank

 

"You should live your life..." he'd say of merely concern 

 

"How am I to live my life without the love of my life" she'd say as tears fall down her cheek

 

"You will manage... I promise" he explains

 

"No, I will not live without you" she says through her weeps

 

"I love you" he just simply says

 

"I love you too, and that's why we must do this" she replies

 

Tristan would nod slowly

 

"Death will not do us part this time, my love." 
 

"Eternal love, for as I will love you even after death."

 

"May we rest in peace" she'd continue

 

Tristan would go to kiss Frida passionately

 

"I love you so much, Tristan" she says as she pulls away

 

"I love you too" he returns

 

"That is why I must do this with you."

 

Tristan would nod slowly

 

Frida would gently link her arm with his.

 

"See you on the other side?" she'd say through her tears with a faint smile and slight chuckle. 

 

"Of course my one and only love" he says with a faint smile.

 

The two of true love walk into the lake, deeper and deeper. The last gasp of air they took to contain a kiss. Beneath the surface of the water they embrace each other... they will soon meet on the other side to sustain their eternal love.

 

[!] A note written in the familiar pendmenship of Frida would be found

Dear Loved Ones,
Shall you find peace in our deaths, for as it was out of pure love. We shall rest in peace with our eternal love. We do not wish to bring sorrow unto you, but please.. know that we are in a better place.
