ski_king3 0 Share Posted December 17, 2016 if you guys want to know why we've had more admins in the past year and a half than we had in the four years preceding them, it's because of stupid bullshit like this. seriously, being an administrator on this server is a full time job without any compensation whatsoever other than whiny teenagers and the ability to use a few extra commands on a pixel server. yah, this seems to be an error, but one that clearly lacks ill intent. if you want to spend an inordinate amount of time dealing with dozens (yes, dozens) of complaints a day whilst managing a team of fifteen people who in turn deal with other player complaints and also managing numerous other aspects necessary to keeping this server running and to a certain standard, then i can tell you you're wrong. it's a ******* terrible job, and while it's reasonable to take issue with things handled improperly, this isn't a reason to ask someone to resign. none of you want this job, give it a rest. These events are set in place at a bare minimum of five days ahead of time, and unlike the leadership of this staff team has shown, the players actually acknowledge that and prepare. I don't doubt that some part of the indicated teams have actually tried to prepare for these events, yet we see another announcement from on high that, "WARCLAIM POSTPONED UNTIL Thursday," a full five days after the intended date. The flow of roleplay is being actively impeded by this sheer administrator staff incompetency because a war cannot progress, and now it is even more unlikely for warclaims to progress the war on the following weekends as both Christmas Eve and New Year's take place on Saturdays.
