How would knowing how many people don't care be valuable? This is a poll to see whether there's support for removing swing timers or not. If you have no preference then don't vote and if you do then vote. Stop being awkward.

Most people who don't care either way wouldn't look into a thread entitled "combat poll 1.9 v 1.8 please vote" in the first place, all it would tell us is how many special snowflakes there are.

I'm good at it, well, I'm also kind of good at 1.8 but at 1.9 I'm overwhelmingly better.

 

1.9 is slow, not versatile. Not tactical, it's mainly just whaling on each other. There's no reason to even try to dodge or get good at movement anymore. The poll is just to remove hit timers, shields will still be in the game and usable?

Believe me, the dodging in 1.9+ is basically just walking out of the way. You have atleast 2 seconds of delay that you can just walk around. It's awful. I remember my heart racing as a pvp battle started, yesterday I fought a 15v15 skirm vs Oren and I felt like sleeping would have been a better option. It wasn't exciting at all. It was just a straight line whaling each other with 1-2 second delay. Please watch some actual videos of wars on LotC when 1.8 was still active.

I like 1.9 due to the nature of each swing hitting be rather important, but its pretty obvious around here that people want 1.8, which isn't really worse / better in my eyes, just diffrent and I hope we can just move already and be done with this forum spam, it has grown tiring to see the daily Chaw post in the feed, also I am scum yay.

You can walk around all you want, shoot arrows all you want. But when the fight comes down to it, if people are actually organized and don't over extend, it will come down to whaling on each other in a hectic and chaotic battle. As was witnessed yesterday, the beginning had actual tactics involved but when it comes to the actual fighting. It's just straight chaos and sprinting around. Which is bs

I'm not really interested in arguing the points. Simply put I enjoyed 1.8- pvp better, and that tis how I voted.

If you think 1.9 supporters aren't voting, tell them to. Link the poll and say that 1.9 could be removed if 1.8 wins, and if they don't bother voting after that then it means they mustn't really care.

If anyone votes 1.9, Pyro will kick you out of oren and vege will kick you out of the rebellion. Those OOC blacklists work well at times.

Don't be a selfish ****. The server has been run with great battles with 1.8 pvp. Ever since 1.9, everything went to hell. The battle of Mt. Augustus, heibenhall, the battle of Fort dunamis, siege of Hanseti, the great dunamis in petrus. You weren't around for the good times, Alakabam was. Only 2011 to 2013 veterans should have a say. Like Alakabam, Erik, Maur, bird, eddy, the coal miner union, not new players that donate ten bucks to the server and know nothing. You are similar to Jon Snow, but a big difference is he gets da ladies, and you get a rod shoved up your *** by your edgy elf friends.
