Monthly Dev Update Log - January + February - (Orcs read this)

Intro

The following is a changelog of in-game changes that have occurred over the month of January and the first half of February. The changes will be split into sections based on their in-game category(nexus, professions, general, etc.) Feel free to post feedback / ideas here on these changes or suggest ideas for the coming month.

 

General

+ Carpets can be used for shops

+ Non-VIPS can unlock 1 shop upon reaching enough persona time

+ Added buy only shops

+ Added display shops (type -1 twice in when creating a shop)

+ Added a Primary Region Owner section in regions. There is a section for the Primary Region Owner above the region owners. Modreq to have a pro set in your region(need other region owners approval before being set as a pro)

* Fixed sandstone slabs purpur slabs from not being able to be used for shops

* Fixed /money help

* /money top now rounds to the nearest whole number

* Frost walker boots can now be used anywhere, no longer rely on having region permissions

* Fixed bow duping

 

Fast Travels

+ Added a new fast travel system to replace sign warps, they will gradually replace FTs in the coming weeks.

Headshop

+ Added the HeadShop for buying decorative head items, can be accessed through /headshop, full thread here. thank mr. @dsdevil

VIP Purchases

+ Added /spit (Ender+)

* Soulbinding items now makes them unusable

* VIP Packages have been updated, store link here

 

Personas

+ Added /persona skin which will save your skin's head to the /me menu. Prep for saving full skins to personas.

 

Skills

- Removed potato and sugar cane level restriction from farming

* Fortune enchantments now affect mining and farming drops

 

Crafting

* Fixed tinker's post not being able to be crafted

* Fixed potion colors, you should start seeing more colors than just pink with alchemy now. Thanks @Malimom for helping us fix this.


Racial Abilities

+ Added bullrush ability to Orcs and Ologs. Double tap sneak to activate. 2.5 second charge time, knocks players in your path back and deals a small amount of damage. This buff is not final and may be removed/changed at anytime.

orcs needed a buff? what about halflings you monsters?

After several PvP situation tests with the charge... it's dead content. The charge up time makes you unable to move and results in you being beat down few hearts of health before the charge itself even happened. It might have a slight use in warclaims when there's a mass of people that don't look about, but it also makes sound, allowing others to know  what's coming. So in a nutshell, i highly doubt that even 10% orcs will use it. The idea in itself is quite fun though, i must say. Hope to see some improvements to it over time.

Have to agree, Let's hope this thing get's fixed.

Don't personally think there is anything more for halflings, /Most/ Of Us aren't very skilled combat wise, and already have 2 Racial skills, as said above, however, if you can pitch an idea for something that sounds reasonable for my half-men friends, I seriously want to hear it, Cause I'm all out of ideas.

In my opinion i don't see why halflings shouldn't share a passive speed buff with their goblin buddies. Both are the only races with less than avarage amount of health, the only two races with two racial skills... and goblins even have both speed and more health than halflings. Don't see why not half-men shouldn't have the same passive speed buff as gobos do.

If that's the case, I'd suggest that the Orcs get Resistance 2~ and Weakness 2~ during warmup time, to allow them to tank the damage that will be dealt to them, whilst not being able to use it as a way to avoid damage.

Interesting suggestion. I'd add to it by making the charge-up time shorter. Because anyone can just step away and your charge's worthless, even then, all it does is 2 hearts of damage to an unarmored person.
