[!] Many gather as King Marius and Queen-Consort Adelaida of Metterden join in sacred matrimony.

A multitude of various noble carriages and the retinue of the Haense citizenry gather in the Cathedral of the Three Saints in the City of St. Karlsburg. As the sun rays penetrate the stained glass windows of the church, the scent of incense bellows to the roof. The hundreds of candles bathe the interior of the setting. Suddenly, the royal retinue captures the attention of those assembled signaling the commencement of the solemn and jovial event.

The congregation then turn their heads to the back as the King’s procession slowly advances down the central aisle. He then ascends the dais standing before the altar as he looks from above at the currently assembled in anticipation for the bride’s procession. The Queen-Consort and her handmaidens descend the central aisle in the same manner as the royals were dressed in immaculate and gleaming gold and white silks as she earnestly strode to join her soon-to-be husband. The Archbishop of Jorenus Rory Othaman looks to the crowd and meets the eyes of the two as he began the mass. Instructing them to join in hands, he asks the following to each of them in equal regard:

“Do you Marius of House Barbanov, take Adelaida var Ruthern to be your lawfully wedded wife, in all times before the eyes of GOD in the Seven Skies, as long as you both shall live?”

    “I do.”

“Do you Adelaida of House Ruthern, take Marius Barbanov to be your lawfully wedded husband, in all times before the eyes of GOD in the Seven Skies, as long as you both shall live?”

    “I do.”

At the affirmation of the sacred vows of matrimony, the Archbishop seals the marriage and officiates the two into one sacred union. He then advances with the declaration:

“By the Grace of GOD, I now pronounce them both husband and wife!”

Bells toll from the cathedral at the pronouncement as the newlywed royals join in hands and officiate their marriage with a kiss. Subsequently, the two stride down together waving to those gathered as they make their way out of the cathedral as the Barbanov and Ruthern banners that are carried by the retinue wave in unison behind them.

Tatiana Aleksandra Vanir cheers in the middle of breaking her fast as she gets the news that her nephew is happily married. She startles a few of her younger children, while the older ones groan at their mother's giddiness.

"Thanks for the invite." says, regrettably, another Colborn.
