Tsuyose 3285 Share Posted April 6, 2017 [6th of Malin's Welcome, 1606] The sun blossomed over yonder, christening the hillside in a blessed layer of sunlight whilst a warm breeze rolled over the emerald fields before the Kingdom of Courland, their banners hanging proud, surely, such a Kingdom who’d brought the Empire to their knees contained an unfathomable unit of veteran guardsmen, however, as but two of Mardon’s finest trekked upon the citadel, the Courlandic soldiers realised their harbinger had dawned upon them, The infamous Arthur Jrent the Colossal, atop his fierce steed, and his general by his side, the duo rode into the core of the Courlandic city, promptly drawing steel against the guardsmen who accompanied the fallacy of a Knight against Owyn II, the innocent ex High Pontiff, during the Undead encounter. The soldiers of Staunton, in all their fright, unveiled their towering shields to produce a formalised wall of armoured flesh, however, their prompt arrogance would be their downfall. “Shield wall!” “Thwart the threat, for His Majesty, Tobias Stau-....” Bellowed the soldiers of Staunton in their puddles of piss, albeit it was far, far too late, for Arthur rode forth post-haste, baiting the soldiers forth from their supposedly stalwart line as he enticed them into the open field, and they were promptly flanked by his general, the combination of the duo against the seemingly ‘grandiose’ Staunton guardforce was unable to stand, and they fell to the might of vengeance. Their words of praise for the lying Regent of Courland and Tobias alike fell short, blood bled from their wounds upon the battlefield, and the humility of Courland had been stolen by Arthur “The Colossal” Jrent, and Torbyn Sundercliff, who proceeded to encircle the gatehouse, and all who inhabited the city heard their bellows, for the ire of Godsmen was to be known. To the soldiers who fled the field of battle against the due rightful counter-attack, To the Courlandic soldiers who aided the Undead in attacking, and killing, Owyn II, To the Lord Regent and Stauntons alike who revel in their heresy and harbour the heretics, VENGEANCE WILL BE HAD. Aesopian 1640 Share Posted April 6, 2017 The stupidity of mankind is that they are building Courland into a new Oren by attacking it constantly and losing. When nations decide to go to war with Courland and then promptly lose, they get absorbed, and Courland grows larger. I'm pretty sure Courland hasn't even declared a war.
