Of Ologs and Goblins

Recommended Posts

Where there's a whip, there's a way!

Spoiler

Straight from the Aegis, three kins of Krug were living together, not knowing what discrimination Is.

Centuries were passed, bloodlines were made. Uruks took control of goblin and olog populations, both were used as the slaves. Gobbos of warnation were used to make the warmachines powered by their big brothers, the Ologs. At the same time the Olog kin do not shine with their minds, simply being stuck at their cavemen lives. After some time, revolutions and changes have come, goblin revolutions in Athera and a formation of an olog clan Fud in Vailor. At the end of Vailor goblins were forced to live in the sewers of San’Thraka. At the same time the clan Fud was gone overall, and the last member and a founder of it, Grubgoth Wud’Fud, died in Axios.

Time passed and a group of goblin enthusiasts have created a new home for every goblin and an olog. They call themselves Golin’Dar. Just like in ancient times, they’re trying to keep their society balanced, the ologs are well fed, and allowed to dig their caves under the goblin town and do whatever they want at their hood, in return goblins may use their enormous power and use ologs as the battle mounts.

An Ox goblin and an Olog-Hai

But where there's a whip... there’s a way. Sometimes Olog kin may be full of stubbornness  and naughtiness, letting their instincts come around. And in case of safety for every goblin in the town, the Ologtamers have to use the whip on their big friends, not in sign of disrespect, but in sign of carefulness. Who will feed ologs, if they will destroy the city?

After all, Ologs and Goblins can not survive without each other. You, yes you! You could become a giant Olog, or become a goblin Ologtamer, you decide, join now!

"Goblins didn't exist for a long time and Goblins chose to live in the sewers. Also the Uzg keeps ologs well fed. I think you should get your facts straight." states the quartermaster.

Wargoth Nazark'Gorkil wonders who taught this liar anything. Goblins were not slaves and nor were ologs. We are all one big happy family of Krug's descent, it's just recently that a handful of goblins have become the problem children of the group... But that's alright cause we still love each other. He would plan an expedition to talk with the delinquent goblins.

In the words of wise Ti'gobser: Ologs are just extra-large goblins.

(( I don't know what you pansy (((alternative lore))) kids think orc society was, but goblins were kept in the pits from Aegis to Anthos. The entire point of allowing the weak, small goblins in a society focused on strength is their precision in crafting war machines and the bloodthirsty intent they do it with. Goblins who didn't fit the bill in terms of contribution were either eaten, killed, or exiled, examples of all three and worse have occurred in the past. Ologs came about in Asulon, even though they were in lore previously, as a product of a particular Uruk clan inbreeding enough to result in speciation. They're nothing more than semi-sentient work animals who could hardly feed themselves without Uruk handlers. Quit propagating this social equality into the lore where it was never before, y'all barely even recognize the Clan Wars now. ))

((My orc has only seen or known a time where goblins were just as savage and war hungry as any uruk. Where Mitz and Fitz'Dom ran the streets of Athera and tortured people who said otherwise. They built traps for trespassers and were good company. So say what you want but for the last.. what 3 years? More? Ologs and Goblins haven't been enslaved. For my entire time among the orcs it's been a part of the society that the goblins, uruks and ologs all had their own talents to offer to the War Nation and nobody has complained until just recently. So to say that ologs and goblins are always oppressed isn't very relevant. Hence why I gave my characters insight into the situation and what he plans to do about the entire ordeal.
