From His Majesty's Personal Quarters; Humanity's Plight

Spoiler

From the Kingdom of Lotharingia’s capital city of New Metz, a profusion of birds and messengers upon swift coursers traverse in all directions, bearing message clad in d'Amaury heraldry.

Tidings, kinsmen, knights, and human brethren near and far throughout the realm. Your strife has been made known, and now the hour has fallen. A tumultuous civil conflict now rends Courland from its inner loins, tearing the delicate fabric of Humanity asunder and sending all able men to arms. To each their own, they must declare their belief; and now, we shall do the same.

We as a Kingdom - and all aneath the Creator’s Seven - have been brought to the point where we must question the Staunton regime which now violently wrests control for its own hegemony. Gradually does the very integrity of the nation crumble through acts of child murder and vassal disfranchisement. Even now in the midst of internal conflict, Courland brings half men to fight the wars of Humanum, encroaching on the sacred tradition that brought together the late empires of yesteryear to battle. The quest for a realm rid of imperialism - once noble in nature - has warped into a vicious purgatory of stagnation and decay, sinking like that of a slow poison into the fair beating heart of Humanity. For this, we cannot tolerate our innate silence.

To the Staunton regime and those who would call them master, we say this: abandon your Dwarven allies. Cast them away from your ranks and fight your enemy solely; Man must not be trampled under heel of foreign powers. Act so that the score may be settled, lest your house be forever remembered as the one who leant on distant overlords.

Should you disregard this plight, we would be most displeased.

Signed,

HIS MAJESTY, Hughes I Pierre d’Amaury, King of Lotharingia and of Kaedrin, Prince of Savoy and Metz, Archduke of Lorraine, Count of Amaury, Lord of the Goldfields, Defender of the Heartlanders and Warden of the South

"So now a Dwarven alliance is considered wrong and immoral? I did not see your party complain during the Fall of the Empire, when you marched side by side with non-humans, but o'course, that didn't count. The hypocrisy is almost deafening." Stanimir states to his brother, before returning to tend to the campfire.

Odo paces about the palace in Metz, his expression tense following the dispatch.

"We looked to the Westerlands and saw what was a priority to all mortals, but the greed of the Stout knows no bounds; may this conflict of man end soon, so we may march against the true enemies of humanity."

Without further elaboration, he would await in his chambers. These last days of his rule would determine his legacy, and no misstep could take place from hereon.

also i have screenshots from the meeting where the treaty was brought up exactly 0 times and the king of courland said (i quote here) "We are told that many kingdoms wish to re-form an Orenian Empire, something which cannot be achieved with the Grand Kingdom and Courland still standing. Also no one wants to reform oren if anyone actually believes that I'd be really surprised because its well ******* dumb to think a group of guys getting slaughtered and declared traitors and declared war on because they didn't pk = said group of guys trying to reform oren. please consider that not a single one of the rebel leaders is even a horen, most of them fought in the coalition wars AGAINST oren (as you pointed out on your angry status update). Anyway ooc banter is ******* dumb on an rp thread so lets cut this out aye0

Stop posting OOC on an RP thread, if you wish to continue your argument then take it to PMs.
