All Option 1 means is that salty losers get to stop the winners getting their items as a final **** you.

is that a problem for you? do you think you deserve something or some kind of recognition for winning, in a community centered around cooperative, community story telling? i think that attitude is pretty telling

Option one is the best, remove the motive for the PvP Goons and bandits who are villains for pixels.

Set in place some rules for the removal of items through RP means for the sake of furthering RP.

I think if our goal is to be cooperative and tell a good story, we shouldn't let people do completely unrealistic actions just to stick a finger up to the people that beat them. Doesn't the items of someone a bandit tried to rob vanishing get in the way of our story? What's cooperative about throwing your items into the abyss to get one back? What's realistic about a bandit never getting any richer despite killing the wealthy and ennobled?

you don't need ooc things to represent character progression for you, least of all if you're a good villain

Lotc isnt a cooperative place. It thrives off of constant war and schisms. There isnt really a storyline since maybe asulon or the next map besides a stupid antag comes along. War and pvp are as equal to roleplay on this server so get used to it already

It's still silly for certain people that don't spend their lives on lotc to get back those items for basic rp. I don't really give a **** but don't act like people get annoyed for no reason.

forgive me for not trusting this man to teach me how to roleplay

Fair point, I certainly won't deny the fact that villainry begets edgelords.

Sorry that you chose to live in a place that can't defend itself? Sorry you decided to risk carrying around precious items in dangerous territory? It's not my fault for your being stupid.

I'm not the one that makes the rules tbh. Like I said, I don't really care, but it isn't unreasonable for people to get annoyed that their items were stolen.

getting annoyed about losing pixels makes you the item-hungry one, not the bandit

What does getting annoyed that you can't get pixels means? It means you're hungry. Also you can't be hungry if you only aim to have just a few items. Being hungry means you want more. It's what the word means.
