Nexus a load of shite. Remove the stupid potions, diamond armour and op archer kits. Make things simple again where everyone can participate in wars/battles without having to worry about having lower tier gear and getting two shot. A newbie/grunt isn't going to have access to everything nexus has to offer. The community have stated quite loudly they don't want nexus. Listen.

 

Make pvp enjoyable 'for the many and not the few'.

If we didn't have the CB system, a powerful group could just go nation to nation, warclaim them without cause, and systematically destroy their RP hubs. That's obviously not something we can allow if we want to keep players logging in and roleplaying regularly.

Maybe you should stop trying to shoot your own teammates? Though while I like the party system(since it prevents friendly fire and lets you know who is who) it does get annoying when people get in the way.

 

I do think like everyone else that nexus should be removed overall for the most part(im sure there is some good things about the system). I'd probably try/do pvp a bit more if it wasnt for the garbage system we got with nexus and I'm generally a RP-cenric person.

Notice how the 'I'm going to block your warclaim' problem only started exponentially increasing when nexus was introduced in Athera?

 

It's almost as if being beaten down by people with vastly superior gear, potions and PvP buffs makes it an absolute pain in the ass to fight.

Shouldn't you test the changes out on this map or a temp map before 6.0? Otherwise major duping/lag/warclaim issues/whatever could mar the early part of the map.

Why are people here defending nations who dont want wars OOCLY. It shouldn't be up to them to decide whether they stay out of wars if attacked. Did Sauron and Sarumon ask the elves and humans in lord of the rings if they wanted to fight? No. They just made them. If you want to be a legitimate nation make a legitimate army and recruit. Dont hide behind ooc rules that conflict with legitimate roleplay. If Oren could kill the snow elves, the orcs, and the dwarves last map without a true CB besides that they didn't like them then that just proves that the CB system is broken. Its up to GMs who dont even know the specifics of role play and thats not how this should work. Why do gms get to tell nations they cant war each other becaue there is apparently no probable cause. Gms arent there to witness any rp so they shouldn't have a say in anything revolving rp. Stick to making sure actual rules are followed and your modres. Stay out of all roleplay that doesnt involve you. And **** nexus.
