This just seems unnecessary. Why bother if the vast majority of players can't use it? Just seems like a cheap money-grab that could've been a handy, useful plugin for everyone to use.

literally a useless plug-in I don't see why people care they don't have access to it, all you have to do is tab out change your skin on minecraft.net and then log out and immediately log back in.

 

Like, it's a cool idea, and sure, give it to these higher tiers, but it's really unneeded and sorry to say, but it was honestly a waste of time imo.

Why doesn't everyone get 1 and those ranks get more? I can see it being useful to ppl who disguise/morph and to pay like $200 for something all people could have a use for is just a little too much.

You should give stored skins to lower level VIPs (at least 1 for diamond), and then give higher-level VIPs more stored skins, if it's feasible.

As an ender VIP I have four personas, two of which have a few different outfits. I just don't think $200 is a good deal for bedrock's current perks + a single stored skin. It just really isn't that convenient. Giving stored skins to lower-tier VIPs would encourage more people to donate. 

 

(What you guys really should do is figure out the drop-off for VIP tiers where there are significantly fewer VIPs of that tier than there are lower tiers. Give all new features (within reason) to that VIP tier, encouraging upgrades)

I dunno. Probably because signed skin data and the retrieving/applying thereof puts a strain on the server so we can't be too generous with handing it out. Although on the other hand signed skin data no longer expires after 24h so the server load could be reconsidered. Maybe just tag your favorite admin a couple of times because I don't mind either way.

Jistuma's apparently been working on one forever but doesn't have the code know-how to finish it but I'd rather someone learn to code better than it just ending up on my to-do list again.

Honestly I just do it because I like coding. Code-wise, this plugin is moderately hard (to the point that others have given up on trying to implement it) but although I can code I've not yet attained the ability to please the community.

For it to be P2P it'd have to be the only way to get a different skin when you want to play a different character. You can still do it through the Mojang website, it's just slightly more tedious. The server and the website cost money to keep running and anything to incentivizes people to donate is nothing but a positive change. The donator ranks barely have any perks that people are interested in. We need more quality of life features to populate the donator ranks.

I don't know if this sounds antagonizing or not because it's not meant to be, but can we see what the list of things you are working on is? I think I speak for the entire community when I say we would like to be able to give some feedback on what is being added to the server instead of being left in the dark. having said that, I do think this is a cool plugin that I definitely will be using.

Server needs money to run. Don't charge you money to play on the server but these neato plugins exist as an enticing feature to help keep the lights on.
