WuHanXianShi14 0 Share Posted September 11, 2017 "You're allowed to take flaws from your characters" This is a good statement. I've seen too many people who think their character MUST have a token flaw, and will rigidly keep it so their character's shyness/weakness/disability/etc remains despite how many opportunities they have to fix it. Character development is good. Don't resist it to maintain some sort of made up cosmic balance of character strengths/flaws.

They are both in our hearts, yet most choose an imbalance. Oh, the thought, that we are the flaws that make us" - Shaman Falum'Lur

LordCommander 163 Share Posted September 16, 2017 Damn Straight, playing perfect characters is never fun, it's always great to have flaws and quirks to make them even more believable. For example, My Ascended has a fear of falling in love again and suffers from Depression, while my Warrior Priest suffers from PSTD and Alcoholism. From Good aligned characters to Evil, flaws make them all the more believable and more fun to play.
