Taxation Overview

1634 tax revenue, total amount: 2800 Mina

The Administration is pleased to announce a steady rise in our incomes this year, especially so factoring in several debts paid throughout the year, further raising our revenue! This year's collected taxes will be put towards the continued war effort to help ensure a glorious victory for the stalwart defenders of GOD's name, the forces of the Holy Empire in league with the armies of Urguan. With more and more citizens ever applying for property ownership in Adelburg, the Administration can with certainty say Adelburg's course is set for glory and great prosperity. Our assurance is that His Imperial Majesty is pleased with efforts of the citizenry and the Administration alike, and especially with the ever shrinking number of debtors to the Crown.

A trend noted recently, and made possible with our taxation system overhaul, is an increased amount of tax payments made in advance; rest assured, such payments are carefully noted down and always considered welcome.

Upcoming Events

Our esteemed Event Planner, Miss Hanya Lancefeld, is set to be making several event announcements shortly - the good folk of Adelburg have nothing to worry about, as the Administration has several festivities planned! Talks of a festival, and perhaps a grand tournament can be heard on the streets - keep an eye out for our upcoming announcements! In addition, anyone wishing to contribute should contact the Event Planner, or our Head Steward, Lionel Amador.

His Imperial Majesty cracks down on vile Coalition sympathizers; two traitors executed

It appeared that not even the Jewel of Tahn, the Capital of Man itself, could escape the filthy grasp of the heretic Coalition, aiming to deliver the good, pious folk of the Holy Empire to bloodthirsty Orcs for the slaughter, for several treacherous Imperials, having sold their services to the Coalition, had operated within the city. However, their wishful plans were foiled by none other than His Imperial Majesty himself and his glorious Nauzican Brigade, who swiftly uncovered the traitors and brought them to justice, their shameful deaths publicly displayed for all citizens of Adelburg to see! The traitors, an insignificant Serene and a former Steward of Adelburg, Vivian Sforza, were executed in Adelburg, notably hindering their ungodly efforts. Let this be a warning to all who dare test the might of the Holy Empire, for GOD's retribution is swift indeed.

Amador Wares and Jayamen's Bookstore set to make a grand appearance, the Reiters move in

The thriving economy of Adelburg has received a yet another boost - the Head Steward of Adelburg, Lionel Amador, has set up shop on Godfrey Avenue 1. His general store, Amador Wares, is rumored to have quite a selection in stock to offer to citizens and visitors alike - make sure to not miss the opportunity to make a purchase of a lifetime!

Jaya Jayamen's Bookstore and Piano Academy now offer an exciting series of events, occuring every month - make sure to take a look!

In addition to this, the fearsome Reiter Company of Calais has recently made Adelburg their home, and possible base of operations. Rumor has it that their services could be obtained at Philip Frederick Street 5.

Adelburg Archers aiming for victory

The Imperial Capital of Adelburg has recently become home to Axios' first ponceball team - the Adelburg Archers! The team captain, none other than one of our Stewards, John Humphrey, has been kind enough to explain the rules of ponceball for the Chronicle's readers:

"The sport involves scoring in the opposition's goal whilst defending your own. You can't use your hands unless you're the goalkeeper, and there's contact, but it's limited," captain John Humphrey told us.

It appears that ponceball is named after the Imperial settlement of Ponce, which is rumored to have its own ponceball team, the Ponce Crows. Supposedly, these two teams are set to face each other in the Ponceball Championship, taking place after the conclusion of wartime activities. Stay tuned!
