Personally, I'd think a VERY important focal point which the media team can focus on is the increasing of our outside presence- our advertising, our new player yield, our recruitment. Sure, they can make the 6.0 announcement and tweet like a president, but these are things anyone can do so we don't really need a team for this. What would be more beneficial is formatting and bumping recruitment threads on Minecraftforum, showing off build galleries on PMC, pimping up our title page on various vote sites, maintaining a youtube channel and securing partnerships --- the list goes on and on but I am sure the media staff knows best how to promote LotC. PMC would be a really good way to attract people, the focus on youtube has been lackluster for awhile, which is bad because its one of the best ways to show off what LOTC is..
