Regaining Our Roots.

[!] Fliers would be pinned across The Dominion and areas of the Mother Grove.

The following missive is inked and signed by Quillian Caerme’onn,  The Azalea Druid and Priestess of the Naelurir faith.

Aspectism is platformed upon the two pillars, faith and family - though as we have found our ships brushing the sands of Atlas, the druii and followers of our mother and father have seemed to have forgotten their lineage. The true meaning of being mali’ame.  We are no longer the fearless warriors that I had once found myself growing up alongside of, the very men and women that stood in the face of threats; now we tremble in the mere face of it.

There are those of whom are fighting for the cause are barely hanging on, when those of whom are supposed to support us simply turn away; leaving the others to stand alone. Each and everyone of us have what it takes to preserve what Cerridwen and Cernunnos intended for us - for with such a precious gift comes expectations of us all. The Order of El’Naelurir and the Mother Grove have spent enough time belittling one another and shedding blood, we have truly lost sight of our true path; I am no exception to this. Druids have attacked one another, through spite, jealousy and simple rage; this simply cannot continue. There may be circles separating us as kin, albeit our paths are forged the same by the very hand of our aspects and that is to preserve the natural order.

Through the missguidance and a lack of following of the faith, threats have spiked beneath our blinded eye. Spores of taint scarr our land, slaughter our flora and fauna, whilst this occurs we are squabbling like children. Dark shamans are a growing threat against our preservation - planting their totems upon our soil, spitting in the face of everything in with the orders stand for.

Though how long are we going to allow this to continue? Are you prepared to allow everything generations before us shed their blood for, crumble? We are too prideful, often flaunting our status rather than protecting what truly matters. It sickens me to the stomach reading documents from our own respected leaders stating that the Dominion is in a prosperous endeavor, which is utterly false. The blades of our own meet the flesh of citizens, innocent blood tainting our glorious soil. Caras Eldar went from a thriving nation, to a crumbling sandcastle. Some are more concerned about the coin that line their pockets rather than the true threats we are faced with.  They keep themselves tucked away behind a desk, with a quill in hand - hoping that the words inked upon a piece of parchment will preserve the stone walls of the Dominion alone. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that ideology will grant you nothing but miss fortune.

From my rough observations the circles are in a state of decay, utter chaos which will soon befall to devastation for all elfen and natural kind if we do not open our eyes. First it went from the rogue unattunement of a druid to the murder of an elder; framing one another for such crimes rather than joining forces rather we are  jabbing fingers at each other. All for what? What do we all hope to gain from this?

We are not barbarians, murderers and thugs. We are not higher than one another nor lower. It is time we come to terms with the problems that are brewing with our circles and work to cease them. As priestess of the Naelurir circle and devout follower  of the aspects, I will fight for our balance. I will preach the aspects’ good word, stand hand in hand with my kin despite the wrong they may have done. For my personal issues are separate from my druidic duties.

Arch druids need to unite their ways, despite the circles we call home - this division is one of the many problems that are causing the weak in faith to fall into silence. Missing the voices of many. There should no longer be a competition of which druid can overpower the other, we should encourage the young, the freshly attuned; not belittle them. For whether you have been a druii for decades or merely years, each and everyone of us are relevant and priceless in the eyes of Cerridwen and Cernunnos. It’s time we take a leaf from their tree, be selfless and not selfish.

So join me, gather in squares and preach. Celebrate in the chorus of crowds upon upcoming festivities in the name of our Mother and Father - but never let this be a one time thing. For the balance extends further than the mere natural cycle. For if we are unable to find the balance within our own minds and community how can we ever protect the natural one.

Our two orders must drop our differences and stand hand in hand. To begin such a change, I shall take it as my responsibility to arrange this years: The Celebration of the Mani.

The purpose of such a celebration is to come together as brothers and sisters. To pay thanks to every insect and beast, both of feather and fur. Upon this day it is prohibited to hunt, for this is the day where our beasts are sacred and we take a moment to pay thanks for what they provide us.

Those keen to partake in the celebrations must wear animal masks/heads in order conceal their personal identities. In regards to clothing, I would highly encourage to wear one that fits the theme of their chosen animal: For example one would logically donn feathers and bright clothing in aims to represent a bird.

Masks crafted by the children of Gentle Brook, will be sold during the week of the festival before the date and funds raised by your purchase will be given to the orphanage for upkeep and care of the children.

The following activities will commence during the Ceremony:

Bring offerings unto the brazier: One must bring an offering in relation to the animal they represent, and put it before alter within the Caras Eldar Grove.

Crowning: Those who partake in the celebrations will have the option to choose from a crown of flowers or a crown of branches - this will represent the closeness of nature between mali’ and Cerridwen.

Markings Of The Mani:  Those whom wish it and must be at least sixteen years of age, can consider having a tattoo to represent the animal that represents them. For children younger, there is an alternative paint that can be used.

Those whom are banished within the Dominion shall remain that way. Not special access will be granted in order to attend the celebration.

Those whom wish to lend a hand within the ceremony are quite appreciated, please bird Quillian Caerme'onn to discuss what roles are on offer!

Carsandra reads over the missive, nodding.

"Aye, something I can agree with from a Druid, no less. I hate to see infighting among circles, it's what dulls even the sharpest blade. I'll be sure to attend."

The Viper Druid sat within his abode, his eyes looking over the sermon of Quillian as his head gently shook from side to side. His right hand would move to gently rub along his chin as the massive python Naga sat coiled by his bare feet. Gentle licks of the hearth before him danced within the glint of his golden bloodshot eyes as they moved to and fro over the words before him.

"There is only decay within the Druidic Order because of the blind insolence of their peoples. In order for change to occur, and true natural order to reign they must toss aside their false ideologies that so plague the minds of each and every new Druid which is attuned into nature. Reality of what the world truly is must pierce the mind, body, and soul for there to truly be unity among those who claim the title of Druid even though they do not deserve such a title for all their actions. Their way of life is not natural, their groves do not change and the life within them knows no end to the natural cycle as they are upheld by the powers these Druii possess. They claim to be protectors of nature, yet show mercy upon those who destroy the very thing they say and swear to protect. If a druid is an upset to the balance, they must die and be returned to the soil no matter what they have done in their past to solidify their influence within the Order. Those within power in the Druidic Community dictate how others should live and their ways are false and go against the tenants of what it is to be Druii. Yet, none of the Druid who affiliate themselves with the Order stand up for the traditions of Yore which calls for bloodshed and suffering for there to be peace. What those who call themselves "Brothers and Sisters" stand for is simply a disgrace and their treachery shall be met with the force of true natural power. Do you not think so Naga?"

Taeral, Father of the Ferals would then sit back in his chair with a light grunt. His feet moving to rest within the coils of the hulking white serpent beneath him.

"It is time for change... Time for a rebirth through ash and flame, shall a new way of living and order reign absolute."

As people prepare for the festival Nemain runs about 'helping'. Between her tail and her duufle duo many a box is knocked over, plants close enough to the ground receive nibbles, and at one point the Pantera cub even somehow dumps paint all over herself. Despite this she seems incredibly happy to help with the "pawrty"
