A ROYAL DECREE

Concerning the status

of the Municipal Government

Issued by His Highness Prince Robert Sigismund and Confirmed by His Majesty King Otto III

The Royal City of Markev, 13th of Malin’s Welcome, 1654

 

Va Birodeo Herzenav.

 

To our beloved subjects, we regretfully have been informed of the death of Lord Maer John as of this saint’s hour. Due to the inadequate completion of the term entrusted to him upon his election, the Royal Administration shall dispense its authority to maintain the governance of the Royal City of Markev. Pursuant to the necessities compelled by such an occasion, we hereby declare the following:

 

1. A snap election will be called to elect the next Lord Maer of the Royal City of Markev. We hereby certify the termination of Ser John and shall be declaring that all prospective candidates make known their candidacy to the Royal Administration upon the effect of this decree.

 

2. In regards to the lack of succession within the municipal institution, the Royal Administration duly appoints State Minister Ser Cecil Halcourt to serve as provisional Lord Maer of the Royal City of Markev until the conclusion and inauguration of the victor of the next general election.
