The Battle of High Plains, re-counted by a Scribe, witnessing the battles. Snow Maidens Welcome, 1655 - The First Seed, 1656

The Battles of High Plains started when the Cannonists declared open war on the settlement Halsworthy. The Battles of High Plains as lasted now for a year total, each side never giving quarter.

Within the first couple months, Cannonist men began building a fort near the town, shipping in supplies and men in the tenfold. The citizens of Halsworthy remained in their town, most of them staying to fight, including the parents with children of their own. When fleeing with the children or young ones fell through, the children were kept inside the strong walls.

Within the next on and off six months, several Cannonist men began to attack the settlement. From eye-witnesses accounts, over those six month, they captured five people, killing two.

The other people kidnapped were released. Over the span of those six months, not one fatality was reported on the Cannonist side.

The last month, The First Seed, 1656, was the most bloodiest battle ever re-counted. The Cannonist men entered through the gates of Halsworthy, while the citizens and Council members were hosting a trial, and proceeded to bust down the doors of town hall, and slaughter everybody that was inside. The men then circled back to the front gate, were the citizens on returning from their deaths were killed by the front gates. Some lucky citizens managed to flee to the bunker, were one of the Council members, Richard Brauch, was defending those encamped inside. He was dragged outside by the Cannonist men, and publicly hanged outside town hall.

The Battles of The High Plains continues on, the bloodshed only pausing briefly so both sides can lick their wounds.

OOC:

Ethel and Luna did not PK, but Richard Brauch did. Anybody else who was slain also did not PK. This is just recounting the battles that have happened, from the point of a scribe. A more detailed post will come out later.

A pale, blue haired girl reads over the events. She squints against the sun, despite being indoors and away from the windows. Her red eyes clearly sensitive to the day's sun. A lit smoke hangs from her right hand though she would not be seen raising it to her mouth, her lips creased in a frown. "My fellow descendants thrive too much on death and destruction  these days. . ." She mutters before crumpling the paper in her left hand and tossing it aside in disgust.

"Continues and continues"   Robyn cross her legs about while looking over the paper "You know they call that a place filled with pagans but have they really looked at there own towns? ****, you find more undead there than the actual Xionist temple!" She'd sigh whilst shrugging before throwing the paper in her fireplace nearby "Another mage down for the church whilst they still somehow missed the pagans they'd went there mainly for. They need to aim better for once I still see them about"  She'd mumble once more before laying back in her seat

"If you are aware of any necrophages or pagans within our towns, do please tell." replies Walter.

"****, how can you hear me when I'm in the bathroom here! Out!"   Robyn yells back at Walter while trying figure out how he'd be even able to get to her when she was so far out south... where any normal being would easily freeze to death "whatever you find them anyways yourself! Your the /holy/ people right?! Your /GOD/ is sure to help I'm sooo sure of it!" She'd state back sarcastically before moving jump in a bathtub nearby in a small school swimming suit and begin playing with a large chunk of ice in an actual partly frozen bathtub water

"Hmm. . . They really want to believe they've won anything? Just a bunch of religious cooks that want to believe their god exists." The small Lich would cackle like an evil little child. "I'll be sure to help them meet their god in person when I snap their bones in half. I've already slaughtered three soldiers from Curon I believe. They sought entrance after trying to trick us into believing they rebelled against their superior. One electrocuted and the other two. . . well they're nothing but a shell of what they used to be after their life force was ripped from them." She would sit at her desk as she read the report, throwing it out the nearest window afterwards.

[!] Whether the rest of the Baruch household liked it or not, his father, Harold Baruch, was married to his mother when he was conceived, thus even by their standards, he's a Baruch.
