gotta love these utterly pointless statistics you're all keeping. it really helps that you've completed n number of reqs and are giving each other "points" when your team is understaffed, has zero retention, and can't resolve a single ******* dispute

If you believe such to actually be true, you should apply and help enforce against the issues you believe to exist. As said, we are looking for new GM's.

This is sort of out of our hands, but surely soon. It's been important that every inch is cemented smoothly.

no because I'm banned for six months for placing blocks during a raid, and even if I was eligible for GM I would still have to join your team and do a bunch of useless made-up work to prove that I'm worthy of whatever GM rank actually gets to express their opinions. during which time I would be open to being kicked out and completely discredited if I didn't do exactly what the GM team leadership told me to do.

 

you throw out this utterly ludicrous "you should apply" deflection to literally everyone who criticizes you, but the truth is your team is completely bereft of creativity or energy and it sucks the life force out of the people that join. I don't have to be a GM to notice that your team accomplishes basically nothing on a daily basis and tries to pass off trivial gewgaw and google sheets pie charts as productivity. Meanwhile, when you're working against each other constantly to create this illusion of value you've become completely unable to engage with the community outside of three week late responses to resolved ban reports. You're so utterly alienated from 90% of the community that you can't actually resolve disputes without threatening to ban one side or the other. It's pathetic how much work you people claim to do for what amounts to zero return. If you just dropped the act and went back to roleplaying with your friends you'd probably actually accomplish more than you do now.

No it isn't. It actually doesn't matter that the rules are "cemented smoothly." What matters is the people who enforce the rules aren't a faceless bureaucracy of people who don't actually engage with the community and spend the vast majority of desultory nonsense. If LoTC staff spent the countless hours it wasted rewording the same raid rules actually just playing the game it wouldn't take months to write up a set of rules. The problem is that you spend so much of your time answering modreqs and then documenting those modreqs on a spreadsheet that you've barely know this community and you've forgotten how to roleplay.

Answering modreqs and being helpful towards the community is what we do. As for documenting the modreqs, it takes 5 mins per day to document all of them. I do get it that your whole behaviour is due to the fact you got banned but it is not our fault that you broke the rules and got banned for it. Anyone can express their opinion, staff or not, let it be a public forum post or a private PM on Discord. 

 

We do accept criticism but only when its supported by facts. Now, for the war rules, we did our part a long time ago. But I do promise you that they will get released soonish!
