Last Will and Final Goodbyes from the Late Elven King

Recommended Posts

"I hadn't spoken to you in quite a number of years, Abelas... I'm so sorry for that." Leilani murmured to herself, a few tears welling up at the corners of her eyes. "You were always so kind the times we spoke... I won't ever forget you. Rest in peace, dear friend."

"Mal'onn."

Stepping forward from beyond the impossibly wide base of the trunk of a tree with no name, a tanned elf walked toward him wearing the smile of tranquillity. With long brown hair brushing at her waist and bright brown eyes looking to the one known as Caribou, Arahaelth beamed. Her face was illuminated and her figure wore the same garb she had when walking the Descendants' Realm. She reached for his cheeks and held his face as wisps of bright viridescent swirled around the druids.

"Welcome home. Come, there is much see."

Baelor Thysealaes-Aldirar would frown as his cousin Amorette told him of the death.

"Such a shame...he was very handsome."

The letter and items had found its way to the Archdruid. Even after the funeral and his burial site now littered with offerings and prayers given to the fallen King, the Owl Druid would still stand there for a long time. Her facial features holding a serenity to it yet as well sorrow that would be seen in her eyes. A steady stream of tears ran down her cheeks yet not a whisper was spoken as she stood there staring off towards the grave. Eventually after a time, the Elder Druidess would finally give a slight bow of her head. "We will meet again soon, Brother." her voice would flow among the leaves within the trees that surround her. It was then the druidess would depart and head back down towards the cavern of the grove.
